Ya, its really awesome imo.

Speaking of UFC, today is the first pay-per-vu UFC event in 4 years that I haven't watched, all thanks to my broken ankle

/self-pity

LOL, yeah, a little self pity is OK in your situation as long as it passes

BTW UFC was only OK this time around. The Frankling Henderson fight was cool but otherwise it wasn't a very impressive card. I'm soooooo stoked for BJ Penn vs GSP in a couple weeks though!!!

You are correct.

You know what we need in the FTP store?? A similar thing like Stars has with their concierge service. And they just need to add cooler stuff and more variety to choose from.

JMRE, in case you were in the need of some flattery:

Just had one of those weekends where nothing I catch (on those rare occasions I ACTUALLY CATCH SOMETHING PLAYABLE) holds up, I go round folding hand after unplayable hand, my raises are getting ridiculous re-raises, etc. <sigh> Please guys, just tell me "stick to your bankroll management guidelines, don't donk off extra money while steaming, and wait out this frozen run of crappy cards..."

Thanks [/rant]

You're welcome. What level are you playing? There does seem to be a lot of 3 betting pf but it also seems to be pretty villain dependent. So if you are getting picked on make sure you move or play back a little... moving is better though unless you are really confident that they really are messing with you.

I found the deep tables actually weren't too reg/nit infested tonight at 25. Maybe it's all the ufc fans who just got the idea to deposit last night haha

Yairs, AK really sucks! Its my biggest losing hand coz I always play it and it wins 8 small pots and loses two big ones

New strategy with AK is mixing in some limps and bigger PFR's with my standard 3BB+1 per linper raise. Thats not working either LOL.

Hey guys i'm a 25nl full tilt reg. Working hard on my game and bankroll to move to 50. I've been lurking on this forum for 4 years, but decided part of my game improvement strategy should include a more active role!

BTW. Is it possible to get rakeback on an active account? I was pretty clueless when I originally registered.

I also have a sub to deucescracked. How does it compare to cardrunners and stox?

Equus, I'm still stuck shortstacking the 10NL game. I seem to have hit a bankroll ceiling that I can't seem to punch through so that I can continue my quest to move up. I've been bouncing around on about a $10 swing, but this weekend was just ridiculous. I make a bif preflop raise with KK, get 2 callers, an ace hits the flop, I cbet, get re-raised, and have to lay it down. Another hand I get AK off and standard raise with it, 1 caller. I bet out the flop (A,Q,J), bet the turn (rag but now 3 diamonds on the board, and I don't have any in my hand), and villain shoves. I have to give him credit thinking he may have hit at least 2 pair. Sorry again that I don't have hand histories on this computer. Anyway, I may take a few days off, get over this and start grinding it again.

Hey,

Go canucks go!! sundin ftw!

You won't be able to get rakeback on an active account. You can ask FT to delete your current account and set your new one with rakeback.

Shortstacking FT 10 doesn't sound like a good plan. The rake is horrible and shortstacking is obv horrible too How many buy ins do you have for 10? I would either deposit some more and full stack or maybe switch to stars for a while and grind up 2nl or 5nL for a little while to build a roll. Waaaayyy better than short stacking and you can still stick to BR management. As a short stacker you are going to get "sucked out" on a lot b/c a decent villain is going to call you down lighter and make you put your stack at risk often. Plus if you are going to play shortstack a hand like that KK where you raise big pre you have to shove just about any flop if you're doing it right (again why it sucks). Sounds like you are putting too much of your stack in and folding. But really, just try to get to full stack as soon as you can b/c it will help your growth as a player which is what the micros are about.

I'm running with about 10 full buyins at 10nl right now. I wish depositing more was an option for me right now. The initial deposit I made ($50) was some I had to spare and using the same play style and BR mgmt I ran it up to a high of $125, but seems lately I've just been running bad and nothing is holding up. Seems like I've been catching cards just good enough to get into the flop, but then I whiff or catch 2nd best or some other ill fated turn of events. <sigh> I am going to go back through some of my sessions and really study my hand histories and look for anything that I might have done that was less than smart, and see if I can spot some leaks. Thanks, as always for the advice.

if u play at FTP, u can get Stox+CR for free:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/12...ng-faq-333652/

i have 8 vids at Stox atm that should help anyone beat up to 50NL without an issue. and Microbob has some good vids as well there for FR

(this program doesn't touch ur MGR which makes it the effective nuts)
01-19-2009 , 04:32 PM
microbob vids sucks big tbh.

Equus asinus - at the deep 25nl tables all i see are the 9/7 multi tab nit regs, how u deal with them?
01-19-2009 , 04:35 PM
Ed Miller videos are teh sex though.

anyone know if they keep taking your rakeback out until it's a wash? or if you order an item in say february does it only effect that months rake? or does it effect all months until you're back to normal? like i was planning on getting the wife the rebel xos that's 150k points in februrary. so am i screwed forever basically or just that month?
