I play at 100nl right now and need to cash out, so Im probably going to be playing at 50nl for a while, If I can get like 100k ftpoints in the month at 50nl Id get like $1k from my rakeback provider and be set for 100nl again.
I ran 16/13 overall over the sample this is over.

Of course. Although I didn't install/DL/virus scan... the guy can barely make a complete sentence... and it was really random and obvious = DELETED.

Starting to get used to it now. I think part of why I was getting a headache was trying to focus too much. "Stuff" isn't where I'm used to seeing "stuff" and it was a chore to try to find it.

Things move a bit faster than stars in general. I actually like some of the software. Stars has this annoying thing where you gotta click on something a million times if you've lost focus and are coming back.

The play is generally tougher here. A lot less lagtards and bluffing going on. More solid aggressive play in general. Not a huge difference, but a difference.

I think the biggest thing for me right now is the lack of personalized avatars. I can spot the regs much more easily on stars.

I can barely fold top set in full ring, let alone in heads up.

playing in ftops main event and mini ftops i think.

$55 is too expensive for me joop, i don't make the kinda money u do at 100nl i just go on fun downswings.

Let me know if u get deep, ill do my usual running commentary in the early doubles and the dbl deuce. Still in all 3, early days still.
05-17-2009 , 05:53 PM
hmm actually tried satelliting and busted. After that I went on a spew tilt so i'm not going to bother since ill just spew off more.

woah..
playing cashgames in the weekends is ... different
compared to normal weekdays.

where did all the passive tricky trappy players come from? Who told them to check all the way and then shove the river that often?
05-18-2009 , 03:28 AM
I checked my database and I never had a positive session the weekends. It's like there is no way to win lol..

C'mon man. Weekends are +EV.

Less stealing, more waiting for hands and value betting.

Cash games on Sundays are -EV for me. Tournaments on Sundays are +EV. Monday - Saturday are just normal days.

Yeah, but when you are running bad you can really run bad on the weekends. I'm not running well on weekends or weekdays for that matter this month.

Nice hand fish

Yep. Friday night + 3.2 BI.

Saturday night, I played for 45 minutes. Down 6 BI. Cooler after cooler. **** was nuts.

Took a 20 minute break, ended up winning only 3 back. =(

I've been running real bad lately! And by running bad I mean, for the most part, having the best of it and being out drawn. But mix this in with a couple bad calls and some questionable plays, compounded by losing session after losing session and it makes me wonder if I even know how to play this game (and I got a good enuff grasp to be more than a break even player at these limits).

Any of you ever run so bad for so long that you doubted your ability? Was there anything you did to help yourself out of your funk?

been same way here for my last 20 hours of play...but ive seen these sort of swings come and go in the past couple of months. the best solution is to just put in more hands, then the upswings will come and you'll be wondering how you can ever lose.
