I don't display it, I would rather unknowns not have a bit more information on me. I've never played with it displayed so I can't tell you the answer on the action question. I know I tend to give chip displayed players a bit more credit until they prove themselves donks.

I don't display it, but I consider chip displayers nits

If I see an unknown with an Ironman chip I insta-mark them as a reg and adjust accordingly until I see them do something stupid

It's actually really interesting what you say about the iron man chip. I used to display it with pride but it's really made me re-consider it after the way it could be interpreted. Is it me or is there less NL10 deep tables than before or does no-one play for cheeseburgers any more
04-29-2009 , 10:00 AM
love that from donkies....you called with 6 high.....

the latest update from FTP killed the deepstack tables. Yesterday there were 4 going on NL50. I usually have 10 open and keep my eye on another 10.

I was only able to 5 table today and I used to be able to get on 7/8 pretty easily. Even when I start a new table it doesn't fill up. I hope the evenings will be better as i'm pretty much just sitting on all the waiting lists trying to play with all the same people.

Heheh, well... it didn;t actually :P I got my money in with AA against sets a few times, set under set, KK vs AA (although I made the mistake of getting it in with AA vs KK as well, and villain hit his K) etc.

Resulted in being 11BI down after 5-6k hands. It was good for my EV line compared to the actual line though. EV line was about 4-5BI above the actual monneyz.

Second 5-6k made up for it though and now I'm actually up ~2 BI. But this is just my first month at fulltilt. So perhaps the worst is yet to come

Got to a table, a guy goes AI back to back with JT and K6, loses both.

Grinds up another $100 buy in, into $450. Then gets 250bb into the middle preflop with 93s vs. AA.

Then busts the last $200 the next hand.

AND RELOADS!!!
04-29-2009 , 03:28 PM
There goes another $100, Q4o this time.
04-29-2009 , 03:31 PM
And he's outta here. Woulda liked some of the $350 he spewed. MBN for the guy that won $250!

Send and support the cause:

Sent the following to FTP, feedback@fulltiltpoker.com, feel free to copy paste:

Hello,

I would really appreciate it if you could put the deep tables back next to the regular tables in the lobby.
With the way they are placed now it is very hard to get tables going.

Thank you.

Regards,
xxx

7 deep tables going at NL10 All with a bunch of regulars that i've played with before. Yet there's over 20 standard tables. I'm sure it never was like that. I guess games may be getting a bit tougher; but saying that i've had a good run lately.

Meh! Tables are good indeed, but kinda sucks when you flop a set vs overset vs straight :P

Yeah, it happens. I had set over set again today but for once I had the good set.

Check out NL10 now. There's about 3 tables going and only one is full. Tables were better earlier; guess I either play then, go 6 max or play with 20bb short stack scum.

After the latest update the deep tables slipped down to the bottom of the list after the standard tables. I know some guys from here sent e-mails to support asking them to put the deep tables back where they used to be. Hope they change it back.
