IIRC you still get the end of year bonus, just no credit for the continuing month.

thx for the help El Nino, I just emailed them but I doubt I'll get a reply before then, so I'll just buy it on Jan 1st.

Smart move by requesting TIME if he sensed your internet was lagging out

That makes me remember when I timed out and folded then nuts (A high FD) on the river when FT ****ed up their software this summer

But he probably had QT

There's loads of cap games running? Last I checked, there were almost none.

5NL done.

Slightly less fish and a few more regs and SS, a little more aggressive than 2NL. No big difference really.

Wait... why are you playing 6max?

HEM characterizes the first three positions of FR as early, and the next three as middle. Note the number of hands for those positions vs the others.

I could go with:

Or you're playing NL5

Or:

Or you're playing like me

First 500 hands of 10NL didn't start out so good, lost a stack with SD+FD and couldn't get paid of when I hit and got c/r when I cbet with air obv.

I'm amazed how I can run 27/25 and not get paid of more when I hit

At 10NL, not too many people will know you're running 27/25

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. They only look down and see their own holecards. But not even the regs paid me off, and some of them must be running HEM or PT3.

Gona try and play less loose tomorrow and see what happens.

One thing is that people at 10NL folds less to cbets than 2NL and 5NL (small sample obv). Which makes a tighter play more profitable I guess. Couldn't find many 2-barrel spots either cause a lot of pots were multiway with bricks on the turn.

I commend you for being able to play seriously at those steaks. Whenever I play $5 home games with friends it's bombs away every hand

Could also be sample size. They may not have anything (TP+) to pay you off with...

You are a walking talking advertisement for adjustment and how one playing style does not fit all situations. LAG does not work against folks who don't fold.

Anyone have any tips on how to get out of a funk? I'm on the worse downswing of my life (1.2k) and I need to stop sucking. I've already downloaded some new cards...
12-29-2009 , 09:05 PM
Step down for a bit. Less pressure etc and get your confidence back. I wish I'd done it earlier when I'd gone on my epic downswing
12-29-2009 , 09:12 PM
Super relaxing session. Played ~800 hands toying with a new configuration, no TV, no music, just my headphones and the soft beeping of the FT alerts.

Might have to play without distraction more
