This is a good spot to just bet the turn, reevaluating (folding sometimes and calling sometimes) when he ships over top of you. He has a lot of hands that can call a double barrel, but not much you beat that can call the crai.

OTOH, if he is on the laggy side, and might bet and then call your shove with A6, 66, 99-JJ, etc., then this is a well-played hand, imo.

The key here is analyzing the percentage of his cold calling range that is purely set mining hands here, because this board just keeps hitting a set mining range.
Is villain ever calling the flop bet with 88, 44 or other PP that missed pretty hard if he is a set mining nit? A set mining nit might call 1 barrel with a weak overpair (88 that hits the turn) but even that is a likely fold, right?

I have a question for the NL10 regs here:

How many FTPs do you get per hand?

I'd be game, but I'd prefer it be more hands so it could motivate me to play more. I'd probably get smoked in the winrate though.

A little quick and dirty calculation puts me about .088-.092 FTP per hand.

Please explain to me how you are lucky enough to be able to post a hand like this every night. You get people to do the stupidest things ive ever seen at a poker table

ps im jealous

Got damn HP, where do you find these players?

I want them at my tables too

If you play 20k hands a night you might get lucky, too.

(or maybe they see all the dumb **** I do and think I'm an aggrofish haha)

I tried for that 10k bonus...

First my email to FTP

Quote:
Good afternoon,

I haven't played on your site in a long time because I don't receive
rakeback. Upon browsing 2p2 poker forums, I read that some people
that don't have rakeback are receiving a 10k bonus and have 360 days
to clear it at .04 cents/FTP pnt.

I don't have rakeback and have been told on numerous occassions that I
would be put on a list for future consideration. Can I get in on this
deal? I am a supernova player on stars and would like to move back to
FTP, but won't without rakeback or 10k bonus to clear.

Thank you,

James

Hello James,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker support.

The bonus you are inquiring about is one of our Special Bonuses geared towards individual players. These are not site-wide offers, and not everyone receives an offer each time.

Unfortunately you do not have a Special Bonus offer at this time; however we are constantly releasing new offers and expanding trial offers out to larger groups of players, so keep an eye on your email and you could receive one at any time.

You may be interested in the some of the other exciting promotions we offer. For full details on all our promotions, please visit: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/promotions.php

Thank you for playing at Full Tilt Poker, and have fun at the tables. If you have any questions, please let us know.

I think he makes up the HH to torment us. Or perhaps FTP pays him to post these imaginary HH to make us think the games are juicer than they are.

This is as close as I ever get to an HP drooler: villain stacked off PF with 24 a few hands earlier and was running 77/8

No doubt that is my "one time dealer" coming through. Won't get another for 6 months.

Of course HP always has the stone cold nutz when he shoves and the drooler calls

Normally I'm hitting the top of their range here (e.g. Q6o for 2p) ...

My theory is that he takes every single hand to the river, and then he just posts the ones where he actually had a hand.

That's it, right???

Haven't been following the thread, but i'm assuming the 10K bonus is a joke, and the joke went way over supports head...either that or you got mega reverse leveled?

If it hasn't changed by the time the year end bonus starts it will only get worse.
Heck, even making the ratholing timeout 16 hours would be a vast improvement.

You could also limit SSers to fewer tables than full stacks. Both of these limitations would let newbie droolers buy-in short but would kill SSing for multi-tabling bots.

All I can say is "nice fold!" 99% of players are unable to fold in this spot. And FR is all about folding.
