AK pre... whether its a 4bet shove, or calling any sort of bet/raise. I caught one of the top 5 100NL players shove against me with AQ a couple days ago too - I thought that was kinda cute. They still aren't adjusting to my new nitty sessions.

Each time I play for stacks with AK pre, I'm reminded of playing 1/2 live.

I didn't go into steaming tilt, just FML I click call a lot now tilt.
Thats the second reference to a donation. I don't keep track of 2p2 names and their FTP names as well as I should. I'm GREAT at remembering people's names the moment I meet them in person, but I'm a bit of a goofball with internet people. What I'm trying to say is... I don't know who you are sir.

Deep play, and being comfortable deep, come with experience and volume. The more hands you play deep, the better you will be. Thats all it boils down to.

I don't fold it, because I always bink the turn. If you don't have Blood Type Boomswitch+, I'd recommend folding.

anyone know how to speed up HEM import?

it's being super slow recently (about 4 hands/sec, used to be about 30h/s on a fresh DB)

I've tried defragging and vacuum/analysing but no effect

I recently bought a new computer (3 GHZ and 1TB) and I was getting about 500h/s but of late it's been about 5-10h/s). If you figure how to speed the import up let me know.

Getting it AI pre with AK for 100bb is the devil. Today I 4bet/c OTB vs a 32/10 with ~10% 3bet from the blinds. He had QQ and I lost the flip.

(obv I am not 100% serious here).

Friend of a friend saw the 2M2M show, and keeps asking me how complete idiot kids can be millionaires playing poker... but I'm not anywhere near a millionaire and ten times more intelligent than the kids on the show.

He wants to start playing for $ online and asked me what books he should read. I told him to just sit down with me for an hour and a half and I'll show him how to beat the online game. He knows hand values obv, but has zero strat knowledge. The most amateur you could imagine.

He turned down the hour and a half sit down with me. Kinda insulted.

Oh, so I was looking at what the smallest stakes were to recommend for the friend of a friend, and I lol'd at a red pro having a 2NL custom Iron Man table. Every time I see a red pro, the result is always me laughing.

So I cashed my roll for school as I do each semester for money, left $100 to grind back up from NL10 to NL25 and NL50. I hadn't played NL10 since August and I felt like the quality of play had improved significantly. I normally don't put much stock into the games are dead refrain, but I was wondering about it. After grinding up to $400 I started Saturday on NL25 and man have the players been bad, so now I'm confused, as NL25 is obviously normally harder than NL10. It's a small sample size, but I was just curious about what other micro grinders are noticing--is there a holiday influx of vacationing college fish? People seem to be giving away chips.

His screename please? Tell him to start at 50NL as it is only 2 quarters.

Be sure to warn him of swings and that he'll need a big roll to cover occassional bad luck streaks
