They do tend to be harsh in the way they phrase their criticisms up in SSFR.
That said, I agree with the substance of most of the comments. I was kind of intrigued by jasons arguing for an initial bet on the turn. IME, people are more likely to call flop and river than they are turn and river.
With players like this, whose range you know you have crushed, consider changing your bet size, rather than whether you bet. If he calls a half pot bet (for example) with 2 outs, this is a giant mistake. And he WILL call a 1/2 pot bet more often than a standard c-bet.
The problem with the line you took is that you can get a maximum of one street of value. I'm not saying you are likely to get more; you are not. I am saying that with your line you
self-imposed a limit of one street, and there is no good reason for you to do that.
