Hi guys after serving my time at PS, they finally gave me my RB back, so I'll be around at NL25 tables quite soon.

Me: Currently playing 50pl (mainly) on FTP. i moved up from 25pl/nl after about 50k hands, and doing very well.

finding 50pl has a lot more regs then 25, as well as a lot more 3betting. i found at 25pl, i was the most aggressive person at the table. i dont see that anymore lol.

anyone else play these games here?

I'm jumping in and out of 25nl/50nl games on FTP again. I've finally gotten over categorizing myself as a "25nl player" or "50nl player". I play whatever looks good at night...hopefully soon...I'll be jumping around 50nl/100nl...we'll see how that goes.

It was gross...last night I started out with 1300 hands at 25nl and won a whopping $3...hopped into 50nl for just under 1k hands and won a shade over $150....on a huge heater as well...got AA l9x in that 1k hands at 50nl.

After epic downswing things like BR and skill are kinda meaningless now, and I've been hopping around from 5nl to 50nl pretty randomly. This week I'm playing 25nl.

I want to become a reg again, and invest in my game with HEM (still using PT2), table mods, FT ShortCuts, etc. trying to figure out a threshold when I've got enough foothold in the games to fork over the cash to make that investment. Plus, I kinda want to move up aggressively and rebuild instead of "moving in" to 25nl, which is probably what would happen if I spend all my winnings on trackers and such.

I should probably do like you do and open good tables at a mix of limits. But I 16-table and don't use AHK or anything, so I tend to screw up my betsizing if all my tables aren't the same limit.

Still trying to figure it out.

FTS is a must have really, and it's only 25 bucks. It really eases the pain.

Brag: Crushing 50nl
Beat: Shortstacking
Variance: Getting slowrolled by regs is ****ing annoying

Yeah, I know what the stats mean, it's just that they're so bad and I don't see how you can make any money playing 10/9.

I heard FTP was soft, but damn.

I know it's FR. 10/9 is just... wow.

10/9 are pretty good mix for a SS, especially if he is stealing and restealling relentlessly.

of course the WR is a little high, so it could be a heater..but I think a really really good SS with 10/9 should be winning around 2ptbb/100 if the tables are soft. This is based on my DB over a 2 year period.

Oh god, a SS. It all makes sense now.

Short Stackers make money since so many players don't adjust at all for them and they really have a mathematical advantage, BUT:

1) there are really only a couple of short stackers that play mathematically correctly
2) Most of them you can exploit, the good ones you can make it neutral EV for them and with dead money from other players +EV overall
3) Good SS can not re adjust since it kills there mathematical advantage, so you basically can state I am going to limp/call the top 8% of my range against you and commit on the flop, and they cannot do anything about it.

Since most SS are actually playing it wrong, I have a positive WR against them over my last 500K hands.

With that said I rather play against a mediocre full stat reg than a mediocre SS

Last night I accidentally sat down at all PL tables. They might just be fishier but like some people say, they are even more rigged than regular FT tables haha.

+1. I think I've only seen one good short stacker, ever. You know what prints more money than shortdonking? Being good at poker.

Sry, I'm one of the regs that slowrolls shortstackers daily.
