lol, that hand was funny. i was running pretty bad at the time, i think that hand actually put me up on the session, im pretty sure i then started running really good after that and finished up 8 bis, then had 6 bis today (first time i ever had 2 good days in a row...?) so im not really complaining about running bad atm, its just that some of these regs really annoy me, so i figure i oughta ask some people here their thoughts on em so i can hopefully find ways to better exploit their idiocy, although i can be an idiot a lot of times as well. i seriously dont think ive ever tilted so much in a month.. ever and its not even 2 weeks into the month yet

KF raised pre and checked flop 5-way (ante table) and set 6's bet flop from BTN after all chked, KF called, everyone else folded.

On Turn Ace KF chks, set bets Pot (50BB), KF minRaises (100BB), set shoves 200BB, KF calls and loses 200BB.

Now lets see what would BTN bet flop 5-way then shove Turn with = a worse Ace??? LOL.

Thoughts?
I only recognize xxemilyranxx ATM. I have him over a pretty alrge sample zize as an absolute pre nit but it seems he likes to float a lot, even OOP. His fold to cbet is ~55%. He likes to bet the turn after a check IP with air/very thin.

That is all I remember so far since I have my DB not open yet.

And yeah xxxpoketsaceokxxx suxs esp when he starts to table coach and/or berating the fish.

I did that one ten times since her tasks are all basically different variations of running over your opponents with nothing. Now that's my kind of challenge.
Can someone explain to me WTF he's talking about?

What is "it", and why do you have it on Chris Ferguson's "thing"?

But seriously... points, tasks, I don't understand any of it. Is there some dort of challenge or something FTP does with named tasks. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

Do you know of the full tilt academy? It's basically a bunch of videos that have a little bit of instruction or an actual played session or something like that. Most of the videos are accompanied by a quiz and with a challenge. The challenges are tasks you have to perform in an actual game setting. Furguson has a video on preflop play. His advice includes minraising from EP and also says to never open limp. So one of his tasks is to min raise from EP with a monster three different times. You complete these tasks and you get academy points which you can use to buy stuff.

Speaking of which, the academy has a two part video on Patrik Antonius' play against Isldur.

I think I'm at some bizzaro table. It's a regular table, but only three stacks are UNDER one hundred BB.

If I wanted points from the full tilt academy, can I just "opt in" like all the other promotions and complete challenges just by playing my game? Or do I have to watch videos and take tests and do homework and whatnot?

As far as I know, the tasks are the only ways to get points. Those you do during actual play (although might cause you to alter your style a bit) Also, some tasks are for cash games, some are for SNG, some are for MTT.

The videos are accompanied by quizzes and if you do well on those, I think you're enrolled in a freeroll.
