Sup Turtle. Any chance you can make a reappearance in the FTP Small Stakes thread? Some people are finally speaking up against the troll that ran you out - I doubt he'll be a problem to you because I've got a feeling the mods are wisening up.

Purchased a $600 bonus around November 15th.
Sent email to Support on November 21st
Received Auto-Reply on November 21st
Sent email to Support on November 24th
Received "We've forwarded your email to our bonus department" on Nov 25th
Received "We're happy to confirm that your Iron Man Bonus for $600 has been credited to your bonus account." on Dec 2nd

Cleared bonus on Dec 5th. FT has upgraded its bonus clearing section though. Cashier>>Bonus actually tells you how many FTP you need to earn before the next $20 is cleared. Your $100 from Iron Man will appear there. Eventually.

I don't think that Iron Man is automated by Full Tilt. If you want to turn your Iron Man Chip on/off (the buttons on the Iron Man page dont work) you have to contact support. The mid&end of year bonuses are never credited to our accounts the instant we clear them either. I think its the same with bonuses that we purchase - we gotta hound 'em.

Thanks. I think it's more for entertainment while I'm supposed to be working on a seminar I'm giving next week, haha.

But I think I've said all that needs to be said. I was just amused by the terrible arguments for it. Especially the ones saying how people would be so crushed if they raised the floor for the 20-100bb table to 50.

Apparently people have done some studies on shortstackers and have found that these guys actually generate less rake per hand than a deep stacker. The reason is SSers rely on FE and if there's no flop, there's no rake. Hopefully FTP is coming up with the same conclusions as well. This will make them a lot less likely to cater to shorties.

Thanks, well that's quite pathetic. They'll hit the superdoomswitch on me and I'll go busto before I get it!

Sounds like that thread is still keeping with the unfriendliness. I like it here, people are warm and fuzzy.

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

Played an extended HU session for the first time in a cash game setting. Saw him on my Table Scan guy (huge fish) so I went to his table and sat down and started playing with him. The plan was to get the chips flying so that the table would fill and I'd have direct position on him. So we started playing and no one would show up. Maybe someone would sit down, but then leave. So we kept playing. He was a major calling station. When he had something, he'd bet. If not, he'd check. He'd almost never fold. We'd see a ridiculous number of showdowns. I just wish I had value bet bigger. I probably could have gotten calls from like 1.25x pot. But I took a BI off him anyways.

But man, HU is a rush. And this guy was predictable as hell. I can't imagine what it's like to play against a good opponent. The table eventually filled up, but I couldn't really get myself down from that high, so I had to leave. I think I can see why people seem to like 6max and HU more than FR.

OK I answered my question myself after I looked in the tourney lobby and saw I can pay with FTPS, too.

Seems like I will now play a few more of them

Yea I wasted 4400 on the miniftops. I was multitabling and didn't realize until like half an hour into it that it was 6max lol. Then I started aggro spazzing and trippled up. Kind of forgot to put the breaks on though.......

Have any of you tried to withdraw money from full tilt? Any recommendations on the best way to do it? I've tried to get money from them via check twice and both times they tell me not to cash it since it won't be honored.

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

I was reading a thread on full tilt checks on the internet forum. Seems like a lot of people were having problems around October with this stuff. Now people don't seem to be complaining about it on there anymore. I'm wondering if they have gotten it figured out. My check is from October and I have just been too busy to deposit it.

My only withdrawal options are check, premium wire (I don't want to pay fees for only $100) and something called clicktopay.

Remember the story about $30 million being seized a few months ago? Thats why they told u not to cash that check. Old news really. Things have smooth sailing since then.

The checks I've gotten from them have almost always worked. The one time it didn't they told me about it before hand. Premium bank wire worked, but I only tried that once. When you used to wire yourself cash, that was friggin' awesome. Go from 2k in your account to 2k in your hand in an hour.

These days, I go with checks. Got one from them just this week, too. (obv brag)

Better to waste points of them then money. I know its a bit the same since the points use will hit the MGR l guess.

Ok, it makes sense. The complaints about bouncing checks have stopped.

It's just $100, I might just wait until/if I hear back from them. I just wanted to be life robusto in terms of my lifetime poker expenses, but it's not that urgent.
