seems liek everyone's month is awesome... lol

that is so gross, enty...

ddawd, nice work. i have the reverse of yours... you can clearly see when i started to become an idiot spazztard and started paying off shorties, etc... ugh, when will i learn?

took a break to clear my head, 700 hands in, went robusto once more, then paid off a halfstacker 30/10's JJ vs my AQ, and a shortie (who had recently doubled through someone else) 8/6's AA vs my AKo... busto...

FTP decided to test my fortitude last night . Luckily I won. I had forgotten how different the games are between Stars and FT. I cleared 1/5 of my bonus during those hands, too, so it definitely won't take too long to clear it.

Nice comeback. How would you characterize the difference between the sites?

What you would expect really. Stars Caters to the grinders so it's nittier than FT. I also don't have any notes on the 100NL 6m'ers on FT so that definitely hurts. I took a ton of notes last night so hopefully my next session will go better. I did realize how much I had missed the deep tables, too. I ended making most of the $$ back on 2 deep tables and when I left them I had 500+bb stacks .

that's really interesting, because if i wasn't busy at work, i would go back and find some commentary from folks saying that Stars is softer then FT... who to believe? :-P

That's not necessarily a contradiction.

how so? perhaps i draw a line between "nitty" and "soft" that shouldn't be drawn, but i don't usually consider "nitty" games to be "soft"

although a bunch of non adjusting nits lets me take approximately eleventy bazillion pots down with ATC by exploiting position, etc... it very well could just be my own eprception that a "soft" game is more filled with stations and loose weak fish that will stack off with TP nearly every time.

yeah, i was thinking the same thing. but i also seem to have developed a habit of enjoying the sensation of punching myself in the junk repeatedly... so... translate that however you want, i guess. end result is my winrate at the quarters isn't what it should be considering the above sentiment.

I'm seriously thinking of doing just that. Playing a few thousand hands there and then move down to the fiddy.

Have 28BI at 100NL, could set a stop loss of 3 or something.

Hey, maybe I'll run like Kurt did when he took a 100NL shot, like ****ing jesus himself

funny you mention that... i found 100 easier then fiddy... smallish sample (5k+) but fiddy seemed nittier/tougher... </donk disclaimer>

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

hey pele, i think u should really take a shot. i took mine with 24BI, now i have 27BI
obviously very small sample size but from observation so far, not much more aggressive / tougher than fiddy. however, definitely less fish and more SS...that's the frustrating part, the SS who makes variance so much fun.... + playing 100NL, can get iron man easily every month which has to be worth something...

My month isn't going so great, although I'm on a pretty good sustained run at 10NL, so I can't complain. I think I'd be up a lot more if I didn't try and mix beer and poker one night and become an aggrotard for a 4BI loss session. That being said, I've had five consecutive winning sessions. (if you count that last one)

By the way, that last spike in my graph was a non-showdown graph. Yup, 200bb of redline. (supposedly he was chasing a flush) You can watch it at the stox link.

No ****! The reasons I stick with FTP are basically #1 rakeback and #2 deep tables.

Shot taking is like a box of chocolates...

Since that runhot I appear to be b/e at 100nl right now, but at least I'm not losing. Yay.

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

I'm probably down 5 BI this month at 10.

2 specifically relate to misreading my hand and snapcalling an AI river shove only to find that the hand I thought I had was on another table and I regretfully did not have top boat, only weak trips (thought I had AJ on AAJxx bd/ but in in fact I had AQ, what's the difference).

6 more to chasing aggrodonks around and losing . . .

Nobody to blame but me.

I'm still up 6 BI... but I seem to lose a lot of midsized pots without a hand, gotta stop that. I have to readjust to peoples stack-off ranges. Highlight of the day: 77<A7 as the preflop aggressor on a AAK7x board 150 BB deep...

Nitty can definatly me soft as long as you are exploiting it. There is a big diffrence between nits and TAGS imo. I have a feeling knn is referring to all the mass tabling tags that are exploitable if you dont mass table.

Nits can be hugely profitable as long as you LAG it up and just steal the easy monies.

I also would like more info on the subject of the two sites from someone with so much experience at PS. Please
