I thought it was against the FT's rules, and that table selection is prohibited?

check with HEM on their forums... i believe they have clearance from FTP. i use the client side scan which goes through my DB and gives me a better detail of who is where. there is also a scanner side server which goes through HEM somehow, but it lacks and will skip players or not return certain tables for some reason. the HEM TS also has a nice buddy/reg/friend list which will show where they are, what tables, how many tables and just about any pertinent stat you desire.

25 was pretty great tonight, seemed like every table had atleast 2 50/8's - was my first session since spending the last 3 weeks or so grinding SNGs. I got this hand, i can just imagine all of them thinking "yes... my trap worked!"

I know the feeling. But your avatar is too good to quit. Just take a little break, review some hands and jump back in when you feel better. Moving down until you are playing and running better is a good idea.

+1 enty. Good for you abilities as a whole. Moving down sounds like a defeat but it will help you in the long run.

I really wish I hung around just a bit longer to hit the 36-45 pay bracket in the doubledeuce....oh well.

For the record enty, I feel like I have made leaps and bounds lately, but I still have moments. Earlier I got pissed b/c I made a couple bad plays. This is on top of a -800 weekend. I complained to #1thunderfan and he shipped my own post back to me lol. He's a funny guy lol

It's easy to get caught up in your own run bad. But then I come here and see people posting much worse run bad. Happens to all of us. Just gotta grind it out. We will have some down moments, but just make sure you don't play during them and that you get over it as fast as possible.

It really helps to have people to chat with on aim. Hit some of us ITT up for aim handles if you need to.

Edit: Also, I railed Durrr for a while tonight. Watching those guys sling around hundreds of thousands of dollars like it ain't no thang helps put a few hundred or a couple thousand in perspective lol

The bolded part it the most important concept you will ever learn in your life. To many people blame downswings on badluck, not at all saying you are doing this FTW. Make sure you are not letting your run bad affect your play. To often we will let our semi bad sessions turn into epically bad sessions by playing terrible and make hugely -ev plays that just spew off stack after stack and then rack it up as variance. Evaluate your play honestly and make sure its run bad. If it isn't then hit up some people for some sweats or invest in some coaching. Most people around here are nice enough to help you out in a downswing and sweat you if you ask nice enough.

Also, dont be afraid to move down. It is amazing the effects of moving down a limit and crushing the lower limit donks does for the psyche.

Yeah, back in my 2NL days, I'd actually get really upset about getting sucked out on. But watching Poker After Dark and listening to Matusow losing hundred of thousands of dollars getting sets cracked really helped me.

Don't slip up. I am behind you all the way,,, but of course this means sticking with The Plan until the final goal is achieved. Tough thing to do. I know you can do it....if but for the challenge alone! [insert thumbsup emoticon here]

Well, I guess I'll have to come up with my own Plan, then. Once I get out of this Kafkaesque situation that I'm currently caught in, somewhere between Stars, Tilt, Neteller, and MasterCard

Don't change a thing.

yea, plays pretty much the same. pots just 2-2.5 x as big. theres a little more aggression but not much. varies table to table.
