You ******!

I might be giving people to much credit in these situations, but when these hands go to showdown they usually show a big hand 99% of the time .

I quote that. After 80K hands at NL25 and 30K hands at NL50 I can say the latest is worse...
Also NL50 > NL25 speaking in terms of skill level... (FTP at least)

I really hope the poker world opens up for the US soon. Just seems like there is too much conentrated talent at Stars and Tilt. Especially at 50nl+.

Me too! Come on democrats! Do it! Do it now!!

As for 3 bets I find it pretty random between 25 and 50. Some days I'm getting my @!# 3 bet off at 25 and some days very rarely 3 bet @ 50. I think it has much more to do with table selection than differences between 25 and 50. I'm thinking more and more than the difference between 25 and 50 is mainly psychological. It's not as discrete as everyone makes it out to be.

I also think in general it's -EV to play back too much. I've had sessions where on review I think, huh, that would have been a winning session if I hadn't donked off a stack running a ******ed line against a 3 bet when the really had it.

I really think there is a distinct difference in talent at 50NL from 25NL.

I'm getting 3-bet a lot more, players are more aggressive from EP & MP. This has reduced my steal % from 39% down to 33%, while I've had to 3-bet more often, and sometimes have been forced by some of the regs to 4-bet w/ marginal holdings.

I've also been forced alter my style from SLAGy play to more of TAG play b/c of the increased aggressiveness at 50NL. I was running 19/15 at 25NL, now I'm running 16/13 at 50NL.

I was winning 8.5PTBB @ 25NL, I'm winning 1.6PTBB @ 50 NL.

I've only got about 9K hands logged at 50NL--not enough for a definitive statement. Hell though, when I"m playing I have to think a lot more than I did at 25NL.

I got 3-bet relentlessly today at NL50. 96 times PF in 2300 hands, around 25% of the time I raised PF.

These cash games are so sick on a night, every table is packed with bad players. Is it always like this on a night?

I'm a day grinder, UK time.

^^^ How were the flips? Ha ha, I've still never done that.

Last night was tilting due to internet connection troubles and god mode fish. The part that made me laugh is that my roommate was infinitely more pissed about the spotty internet than me and he was playing WOW. I told him, "dude, I've got 450 of actual money on the tables, how much WOW gold are you gonna lose haha." LOL I think he might be addicted.

Lot's of fun with the flips. I ended the "session" down 6 BIs. We were basically donating to the other players at the table, one in particular. He had a $20+ stack when I left. Must have been like Christmas and birthday at the same time for him at The Deuce. He even type "thanks" in chat when I said good bye to the table.

The rake was killing us, we could feel our rolls vanishing.

Craziest thing were some funny run of cards with completely random hands like this split between me an I vi ii V7:

^^

Haha, the 2nL pros must have been wondering WTF was going on. I can still remember when I was brand new to poker and playing 2 nL and some pro berated me for a stupid play. I probably owe it to that guy for finding 2+2 and resources to learn haha. That's why I don't berate fish.
03-20-2009 , 09:55 AM
lol kflip after you left, some guy actually said to me, "I'll give you a chance to win your money back."

No joke! My internet is spotty too, and it drives me nuts.

And 10nl is killing me. I can't believe it.
