"Positivly Fifth Street" was probably the first poker book I read, before I even played. Its a good book; I recommend it. Just don't think of it as a poker book as its full of a bunch of weak-tight advice. The incident I'm remembering is him not wanting to get mixed up in a pot with junk like TT when he could fold into the money. So yeah, I'm not surprised if he plays cash weak too.

Can someone tell where the $0.005 figure they deduct from your MGR when you buy stuff in the store comes from? Source?

My rakeback provider says the following in their FAQ:
"Spending 1000 points in the FTP store removes $1.35 worth of rakeback. Added money to tournaments comes off gross revenue based on the equity added per player, i.e. if $100 is added to a 100 player tournament, that counts as -$1 gross revenue if you take part (taking 27 cents off rakeback). For an example of how the signup bonus affects rakeback please check this forum post. Although it is possible for an account to generate negative revenue, this will not cost you anything, you will simply not receive any further payments until the account is in credit. You are always better off with rakeback than without."

The $1.35 figure is derived from $5/1000 (MGR) * .27 (Rakeback %)

http://www.thehendonmob.com/full_tilt/rakeback_faq.html

And heres rake the rake:
"At Full Tilt If I use my FTPs to enter a SNG that leads to another SNG, will I be charged against my MGR?
You will get an amount deducted at approximately $0.005 x the number of FTPS needed to enter the tournament (so 1000 for entering a 1000FTP tournament) Regardless of how you entered it. You will not get charged for entering a FTP tournament if it is leading to another tournament."

http://www.raketherake.com/faq/index...3&id=151&lang=

You should check with your rakeback provider.

For those of you with a large sample of hands, whats your BB won/hand in the SB and BB? I'm particularly interested in those that are massive multi tablers.

Tables are so bad tonight, theres almost only regs on. Good thing I was up 6 BI before the tables dried up

First session @ FTP did not go well. And I who thought new players at a site always run goot, hit absolutely nothing

FYP

Also, we need to get on FTP in the next monthly thread to provide the SecureID that PS is rolling out for players soon. Who's with me?

Of course, I'm taking credit for complaining about Ironman and at least getting the option to buy a day or a month.

Just wanted to drop in and say hi guys. After a stint playing SNGs and PLO, back trying to actually learn how to play FR NL. Been playing the NL25 games the past week few days, expect to put in good volume tonight through Sunday.

Screenname is MensaWashout. Note that I often have my chat completely off, as (i) i tend to say things that I shouldn't to the complete donks, and (ii) chat can put me on tilt. The latter evidenced when I got in blind/steal war where my AQ sucked out on some poor BB's KK.

So, it is usually easiest for me to just have my chat off.

My most spewtastic play ever was yesterday. Got sick of a reg raising me from the SB so I spewed 2 streets trying to get him to back off with 67 suited. Of course he flopped TP with the A. Even worse than the spew was the fact that I had no choice but to show it down.

Chalk one up to rindonkulous play after huge downswing.
