Next time give me a little more notice and I'll give some action. Nothing too big, especially if we end up agreeing on the fights, but I'd always put a little action down just for fun.

I'll be really interested to hear what you think of PS vs FPT in terms of game selection/software issues and of course, short stackers. Were you mostly grinding 100 this year?? I was really considering making a run at SN next year but I'm still trying to figure out if it's worth it.

I am hopefully a reformed bad player. Started on 10 in Aug (skipped 2 and 5), donated for a couple months but been solid in Oct (running good but playing better). Actually key for me was playing more tables and forcing myself from a 22/16 type game w/o the postflop skills to a 15/11 more ABC game picking spots for moves. Used to play too many deep tables, now try to play 2 deep and 4-6 regular. Been really profiting off the bad shortstackers this month. Also actually reading and paying attn to the good players on this site.

A lot of the regs I saw a couple months ago on the deep tables seem to be playing 25 now . . .

As to software, I use none. :/

I just use the "highlight bet amount" option in settings, then type in all my bet sizes. And click on buttons manually. I neve had any issues at the FTP table limit of 16.

I tile 12 with some overlap. Some parts of the tables get obfuscated, but I can always see my cards at all 12. Then I have 4 "full size" tables floating, that routinely get completely covered. I try to check on them periodically to make sure I haven't timed out by clicking on the last 4 tables in the taskbar now and then.

If your monitor is 1600x1200 this should be doable. Mine's 1920x1200. I imagine you'd need a 30incher to tile 16 table w/o overlap.

I never did get stacking going. But I grew tiled organically from 4 tables to 16 so I'm super comfortable with the flow and clicking around the screen, etc. YMMV, but give it a shot.

If there is please let me know! When joining a table I have to click "yes" from the waitlist, click on the seat (even if there's only one open) click "yes" to buy chips, click "auto-post blind" checkbox, then be paying attention when the next hand starts (hardest part here) to click "post" or "wait". It kinda sucks.

BTW, there are some nice FTP mods out there. Check around.

Doesnt FT shortcuts work similary to table ninja on pokerstars, which automatically joins table when u open it, and auto buy in for the amounts of BB's u wish to? That way its easy to play 24 tables.

When its your action and the table pops to the front, the bet amount is already active and highlighted. This means you can just type the bet amount and hit enter, and it will automatically move onto the next table, without ever touching the mouse.

I got a laptop with a num pad just for this reason. Takes <1 second for me to type 8 . 2 5 <enter>, for example.

Ah I see, ty! Didn't notice the difference when I switched it around bc I click the slider to make increments most of the time, so just left it on. Def a useful feature.

And damn! I wasn't paying attention at the tables today, costed me about half a stack again (which annoys since I need 5 more stacks to be able to move up to 50NL and reward myself with a nice watch whehe)

POW = Pay off wizard i.e. some one who calls in sitaution where he "knows" he is no good (anymore).

Even I think McAvoy is a little harsh to hiimself since he is pretty good imo.

IMO it's still difficult to 24 table FTP :P
