Someone mentioned they lost all their FTP notes with today's update.

I am scared to look as I haven't done a backup for weeks.

Anyone know?

I've just opened cashier since updating, but my notes seem to be intact.

Mine are fine but the auto pop-up table is broken now (more than it was before). ****.

Cool, but it looks like you have to select it before you are AI. Would it be a good idea to have it checked all the time and running every AI hand twice?

I really hope FTP implements this in such a way as to have minimal impact on the amount of time each hand takes. With all the 30-60bb players in the games I can see a large % of hands being run twice.

Wonder how HEM/PT will deal with this.

The plan is to play 10k hands until sunday midnight while 8 tabling.

I always make a copy of my .xml notes document to a different folder before I update the client, just in case.

Hmm, sammy said $50, but I think it is worse at $100. But this might be perception on my part, as at $100, I quickly realized that table selecting to avoid SSers was costing me $$, so now I look for tables with short and half stacks

I'm not sure the buy a month worked for me. I kept getting a message that said "you have already bought two continuing months" which was false, and it wouldn't let me buy one. So I just bought 200 point days in August and September to keep my status. I had some serious issues getting the days purchased. The FT store kept telling me that the 200 point days page was broken (while every other page in the FT store worked fine), but refreshing constantly eventually got it to work. I would estimate that it took me over an hour of refreshing the page to buy 3 200 point days last month.

Since that has happened both times i have tried to use the FT store to buy 200 point days, I am reasonably confident that it is intentional, and FT wants you to give up buying days and thereby lose your Iron Man status when you realize at the last minute you need to buy a day or two.

The other scam I encountered is on the confirmation page. After attempting to buy a 200 point day, instead of getting a page saying "your purchase was successful," I got an error page that said "this page is down, please try back later." But the purchase had gone through. Unfortunately, this gimmick tricked me into buying an unnecessary day. So check your Iron Man page after every attempt to buy a day, regardless of whether you think the purchase succeeded or not.

How do you backup FTP notes?

There's a file called <YOUR SCREENNAME>.xml in the main folder of your FT client installation. Copy it to some save place



Edit: I usually try to sync my FT notes and HEM's HUD note feature. This way you only lose the color coding in the lobby in case something goes wrong. Main reason though I do this is that I like to have my notes and color coding in the HEM replayer whenever I review hands.

So fist session of my lockdown ended pretty meh. 3BI down after 3k hands. Some coolers but def some really bad play from me, too.
