Really, why do you think they are so bad?

Well, this time of the day there aren't as many tables + you have look good to find a table without shortstackers or a table full of regs

Regs aren't that good, the biggest problem for me is the fact most tables doesn't have 100BB players
03-04-2009 , 12:47 PM
I bet I'd be a millionaire by now if I played at night

if you want to grind, in about 2 hours or so it will be juicy enough (=

Am I considered a short stacker if I sit $50NL deep tables with 100 BB's?
03-04-2009 , 05:24 PM
for me 100BB is still FULL stacked, their stack is just deeper,
but they still have to play 100BB game against me, so I dont care
03-04-2009 , 07:28 PM
Wow, I haven't seen FTP where the tables weren't good.

I do the same, unless a fish is sitting with 200bb, then I top up.

I look for tables with 200bb stacks. I understand why some 100bb stacks play there, fewer 20bb stacks. But I do treat 100bb@deep the same as I treat 20bb@std... avoid 'em.

I just want to say..... I MISS YOU FTP. Why did I ever leave you

I'm just not comfortable putting 200 BB's on yet, but I want to avoid 20 BB stacks. I like playing with 100 BB's.

I like playing ftp...Im glad I decided to play both sites.

Trying to clear ftp bonus. I'm getting .06c per ftp point. Their is not going to be a problem clearing the bonus I was just wondering. During happy hour, does the double points count towards your bonus? It seems like when i have the bonus window up it doesn't go any faster than win it's not happy hour.

90% certain the extra happy hour points don't count toward bonus clearing, iron man, or anything else.

They do not count towards the bonus. I wasn't happy when I found that out either, since it was during 3x XMAS

Tables seemed fishier than usual tonight I felt like a little girl though because I couldn't pull the trigger on a near 200 bb call. Getting used to 50 NL and I didn't think I was playing with scared money until that moment.

I got killed last night. Even after playing this hand i was down 1 buy-in with AA. I played AA 7 times aipf. Down 1 buy-in from those 7 times. Variance is a bitch. I was happy to end my session with this hand tho.

Feel like sharing HH?

Don't have the HH right now because I'm at work but villain was a crazy lag - I think he was running 80/40 or something similar over a 100ish hand sample at the time. The thing that freaked me out was that he had started with 100 BB and was now sitting on 5 buy ins.

I had been having a good run and got AKo. Villain limps, I put in standard 4BB raise, flop goes 3 way and comes down 555. I put out a cbet on the flop to try to represent a PP. Now it's heads up with villain and a beautiful K falls on the turn. 3rd nuts. Sweet. Then villain shoves. He obv has me covered but I still have a full 200BB behind (I only bought in for 100BB). I have invested maybe 10BB so I'm not feeling too committed at this point.

It's at this moment I realize my psychological bankroll requirements are bigger than 20 buy ins haha. At 25NL for 100BB I'd probably fist pump snap it but I couldn't do it at 50NL for 200BB. Maybe I'm not used to playing deep either.

I was thinking, limp-call by villain so he really could be making a 5 look like a bluff, hoping to get paid with his image. Or he has a K and it's a 400BB+ split pot (lots of rake), or he has air and I'm money. AA is there but unlikely since he limp called but then again this guy is not what you would call std.

The thing that made me fold was that he was splashing money in almost every pot but he obviously wasn't playing for stacks that light if he had already won 4 buy ins! So anyway, he either made a manly 200BB bluff to win 24BB and I outleveled myself or I got away from something.

Still can't decide haha.
