Jayce 24. 16 tabling 50NL, moving up to 100NL soon. Overrolled for both, but I'm a nit. Just because I'm 16 tabling doesn't mean free blinds for people on my right lol.

I am playing all deep 10NL and couple of 25NL at ftp usually 12-14 tabling, currently clearing my end year bonus + ironman medals cash bonus.

lately my sessions on there ended really frustrating with all set under set / AA vs KK coolerments vs regs, plus 400bb pots bbeats to the agrotards who immediately leave the table after hitting the 2 outers

Yes. Just follow the steps in the thread over in the coaching forum. It's pretty easy, but it might take a couple days for them to get everything activated. IMO it's worth it to play on FT if only to grind out enough points to get Stox for free. I'm totally loving the Ed Miller videos right now, that dude is a surrrius ballah.

I might have to look into this Stox Poker thing. I have a membership at DC though, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. I might just save my points up for a the plasma TV.

I've played a few of the point buy-in tourneys to try satelliting into big tournaments, but have not yet had big success. I was thinking about spending some of them on the StoxPoker thing myself.

If you look at the list of tournament sorted by buy-in ascending, the points buy-in tournaments will be at the top. They are often not populated by great players, at least not great tournament players. Certainly worth a try.

SN on FT: rrizgod shocking?

Over the last few months I've put in about 30,000 hands, with a large majority at NL 50. Ive begun mixing in NL100 and will probably be playing less and less NL50 due to running good and having some good tournament results as of late.

I used to play a good amount of SNGs on stars, but I decided that getting good at Cash was probably better for me in the long run. So I stopped playing on stars and came to FT for the rakeback.

As of now i play 6 tables at once on my lap top and us PT2 and HUD.

I think ive played with Sammy, but im not sure since im at work.

I play poker as for a hobby that can generate me some extra income.

I'm a FTP reg also...I played 25nl last year but was unmotivated and broke even. I moved up to 50NL anyway because I was hugely over rolled, I'm hoping this year I can give it a good run and generate some good cash.

Current goals: Get to 11.5k FTP points for a Velor bathrobe....almost there at 9k.

Please teach me how to be over-rolled breaking even!!!!

lol I was over rolled by loads before i started, i figured id work my way up anyway. I broke even but with rb and bonus i made a couple of hundred...then decided to move up. Plus my parents lowered my rent so it free'd up some extra cash

I always play the deep tables with a 200bb stack--I want to make sure to maximize my value when I stack someone.

When you play the deep tables 200bb deep, you have to change up your starting hand requirements, especially in early position. De-emphasize small pocket pairs in early position and replace them with things like AJs, KQs and KJs--people who call an early position raise are looking to flop a set and crack AA/KK/QQ; so you adapt and play a fair number of hands that can crack sets and win lovely 200bb stacks. Fun stuff.

Excuse the stoopid noob question, but are the people who are buying things with points on a rakeback program that charges real money for spending points in the FT store? I'm with Rakeback Pros and am under the impression that I'd get charged half a cent per point, which makes a lot of those store items a lot less desirable. Like, all of 'em.
