also regarding BR management (even though it's been done to death): imo it's very much a personal comfort thing, although as you move up you should def be looking to have more BI because (a) the swings are bigger because of lower winrates, (b) since most SSNL+ regs are either playing professionally or for significant side income, the hit from having to move down is going to be bigger
personally I start taking shots when I have 50BI for the next level, in retrospect this was probs too nitty for micros, because of higher WRs and since moving up forces you to learn and get better quickly (which has happened to me since I became more persistent with shot-taking... I was still playing a ton of 25NL 3 months ago) - however I definitely feel it's correct to be well-rolled as you move up higher
