Its weird, if you take a passive line, everyone assume you are an idiot.
Hmm...yeah i raise AK at nl5 almost 100% of the time against one villian..
The other day a pretty tight (something 12/10) reg(well...at least his someone i frequently see at the tables im playing) attempted to steal from cutoff...had a steal around 55% and for some reason i just called and hit a dreamflop...dude called three streets with underpair to flop...
Was this just for info or do people at nl5 even think about stuff like that?
And yea this was a pretty weak pf game but as i said...i almost never ever just call against one villian..

At 100 you get a table full of nits, at 200 u get people that 3bet, 4bet, 5bet like crazy and are super aggro in weird spots, at 400 u get people that hand read really really well and have well placed aggression, and at 600 u seem to get a lot of the same 400 regs plus some 6max guys sitting in good games.

But when tables are good, there like really good. You get the god seat, its a deep table, the regs arent 3bet crazy and the table basically plays like an atm.
def agree with that

also regarding BR management (even though it's been done to death): imo it's very much a personal comfort thing, although as you move up you should def be looking to have more BI because (a) the swings are bigger because of lower winrates, (b) since most SSNL+ regs are either playing professionally or for significant side income, the hit from having to move down is going to be bigger

personally I start taking shots when I have 50BI for the next level, in retrospect this was probs too nitty for micros, because of higher WRs and since moving up forces you to learn and get better quickly (which has happened to me since I became more persistent with shot-taking... I was still playing a ton of 25NL 3 months ago) - however I definitely feel it's correct to be well-rolled as you move up higher

+1... red line is not quite as sexy but hey it's not plummeting at 5ptbb like it used to

Do any of use rakebackpros? What time do they usually deposit? This is my first one and I'm excited!

Did you sign up with them originally, or after having a FT account? If it was after, how long before FT passed along your info and RakeBackPros actually contacted you about rakeback? It been a couple of weeks since I was told my information was forwarded, but no contact from RBP yet.

It was afterwards, like a few weeks ago. I emailed them with my user name and they told me I was good to go after about a week. Then I signed up on the site and they verified me. My first day of getting rakeback was the 8th of this month. It definitely didn't take weeks.

Checking my sent mail, I sent them my first email on 9/2. On the tenth, they said I was good to go. I signed up that day, but they need to verify again, apparently. They confirmed it on the 11th. Apparently, it works retroactively to the first day of the Tuesday through Monday week. They pay out on the following Friday.

I just got the e-mail last week from RBP saying I am now a rakebackpros member. Have you contacted RakeBackPros *after* you were put on the list by FT? That seemed to do the trick for me, and it did take 2-3 weeks after I notified RBP for them to send me that e-mail. I signed up with a standard non-rakeback FT account FWIW.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Yes, I signed up with full tilt about February. I did it by typing in the URL to their page and getting it. If you link to full tilt through a different page, I hear it may cause trouble with rake back since their database will have you as already with an affiliate.

mine was against a reg that had 18/8 reg with ATS of 58% and a fold to 3bet of 84%. AK has a lot of equity against his steal range but sucks against his 3bet continuation range...so call, hitting and getting good value worked out.

Ive been playing a bit with my friends every weekend at my place so I decided to order one of the ftp table covers (the rectangular one) and a set of 500 chips. My poker chips are so **** lol. they are all stuck together from beer and stuff so I needed to get some new ones.

How long does it usually take for this stuff to get to your place? Ive never ordered anything other then a deck of cards off the website.

4 days to 6 weeks....unless you Mpethy and you get a TV, then it takes 1-2 years.

yo someone's got a nice multitabling mod (background/deck) which works with poker shortcuts ? Because mine is really nice but does not work which annoys me when I play a lot of tables (started 12 tabling recently).

Got my rakeback! A whole seven-fiddy. Not often I get 75BB just for being a swell guy.

Move to New Orleans. 200NL at Harrahs plays like 2NL online. And no rake!

Dear God, could you please stop this nonsense and just let me learn how to beat NL50. Thanks!

Yea, but even when I'm valuebetting his range, I'm always on the ****ing train to valuetown cause I ran into the top of his range. I swear I have paid off AA w/KK and every ****ing set today with my Aces.

I hate this game.

I am starting to see the wisdom in Baluga's whole bet until they raise you then fold strategy.

Fun session tonight. Don't think I went to the flop ONCE without my opponent hitting a set. After a while I started tilting and started calling their bets, thinking: "You can't possibly hit ANOTHER set!? ...Oh... yeah you can"

Down four BIs
