Guess my real point is, would you do it at your normal limit which i presume is $25nl, if so then nh and wp if not then why do you feel that FPS is necessary just because you moved up to $50nl.

But if you knew that, its more of a valuebet and a good spot for it.

'cuz i'ma "nitTAG" according to the SuperLAG vid, tho i would've raised pre here at 25nl too, i would have probably cbet/folded this...the hand itself was very similar to one played in the vid (50nl too, btw) where the thought process went "he thinks this flop didn't hit me so he raises, and calling isn't really an option... and i don't think the flop hit him cuz if it did, he'd flat and go for value later... so i 3B him.

i'd have done this at 25nl 10 minutes after watching the vid too...

although after hearing your logic on the situation and it looks a good bet i think at $50 its totally unnecessary imo

what i also know is i don't think i'll learn much more playing a 12/10 at 25nl than at 50nl and it's time to start opening up. hopefully i don't remain at fiddy more than is necessary once i make the move permanent. 100nl is my goal... if i can make 100nl i'll remain there and build a BR, with a few withdrawals for the wife and i...

i need to open up more from the HJ thru the BTN and watching how the opponents played in Splits SL video gave me some confidence i could pull a few of these lines off... since the vid was made playing 50nl, that too gave me the willingness to at least try it once especially when a very similar hand punishing the loose limper came up.

so my plans are to play between 25 and 50 now, loosening up my game at 25nl and then keep taking shots at 50nl until i'm comfortable... believe me, firing $15+ on a 3b wasn't easy for me! so i'll do it more at 25nl when the opportunity arises and not forcing it... i want to open up more in LP, play more pots and get the experience there... but will carry it to 50nl when i go up from time to time.

and by all means its a good bet in that situation, just didnt want to see someone take a shot and then think that he has to bluff in a lot of spots just because it seems necessary when you move up, so that people wont "push" you around. Just see it so much when people take shots and its not needed but if there was logic and reason behind it then the play is fine and is warranted, just wanted to know if there was a plan behind it.

LOL yeah i was a lagtard alright... started out strong and then slowed down as i wasn't getting any good cards IP and was just waiting for decent spots... got the blinds a few times with AA, too many OC's when i had JJ... went from a 12/10 at 25nl to a whopping 13/11 at 50nl! 30/28 on one table and 5/5 on the other! i'm a lagtard alrighty! LOL

Opening up slowly is a good thing, 13/11 from 12/10 is perfect start
