Does FTP consider using the website Poker Table Ratings a violation of their ToS? If so, what happens if they find out that you are looking at this site?
08-21-2009 , 11:05 PM
Yes they do, do not have it open while you have your FT client open. I'm not sure how rare it is to get caught or the punishment, but your far better safe than sorry.
08-21-2009 , 11:13 PM
Shoot I already admitted using it. I just peek at it out of curiosity now and then. Dang it, now what?

No way FTP can see what websites you're viewing whilst client is open or otherwise. That would be a fairly big invasion of privacy.

Does anyone use Poker Shortcuts? If so, does it work on more than one table? Can someone show me how to set it up? I miss my Table Ninja.

They can, there's way of blocking it. I'm pretty sure when you DL FT poker and accept their T&C's it will say that they can monitor you web activity while you're logged on to FT. Generally FT will send you a warning about using PTR and then if you persist you acc. will be locked and monies taken.
08-22-2009 , 01:26 AM
Did okay earlier tonight, lousy session just now. Flopped a bunch of sets and couldn't get paid off. At least twice I flopped full houses and couldn't get any action.
08-22-2009 , 01:47 AM
Does FT take like 25 min to load for anyone else after the last update?? That is maybe a slight exaggeration.

Just sat down for a sesh with a nice glass of scotch. Goal is to quit if I get too deep in the scotch

Secondary goal is to forget I have to work by 8 tomorrow Scotch should help

there are a few people who had several K confiscated just for using PTR. And yes they can see what apps you have open
08-22-2009 , 02:22 AM
IF I would learn not to do spewy bluffs, I could be decent at this game....sigh (when you 4bet light...and they flat..just give up)
08-22-2009 , 02:35 AM
I'm finding that the combo of spew and runbad is devastating, both to bank roll and to sanity.

I think Teddie's right. Not only can they see what else your computer is doing while you're on FTP, but they tell you so in the Terms of Service.

that ^^^ and calling river bets with your set - while your gut wretches... i'm down 4 BI's on the month and can point out a number of hands that'd have me up 4+ anyway - all because of getting tied to the pot with 2nd hand, or just plain stupid/stubborn to let go...
08-22-2009 , 12:14 PM

Haha, no

This is how it usually looks (when I'm not on a downswing):

Breakeven red line, upwards pointing blue line.
08-22-2009 , 02:08 PM
That's the old imfromsweden. I think you will be drawn to the dark side.
08-22-2009 , 04:47 PM

I don't think so; I'm naturally passive (as most people).

Would be soo cool to have a positive red line though...

Omg played the most epic HU session of my life while lauching a table against xxxlol_me_is_goodxxxxx.

Did everything to him, checkraising his float, 4betting light etc etc.
It ended up like this :

Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 3 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (BTN): $66.95
SB: $50.00
BB: $43.70

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with J J
Hero raises to $1.50, SB raises to $5, BB calls $4.50, Hero calls $3.50

Flop: ($15.00) 3 4 6 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $9, SB raises to $18, BB folds, Hero raises to $61.95 all in, SB calls $27 all in

Turn: ($105.00) A (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: ($105.00) 5 (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: $105.00
Hero shows J J (a pair of Jacks)
SB shows 6 T (a pair of Sixes)
Hero wins $104.00
(Rake: $1.00)

So good to make someone melt down like this.
Saved my 2.5k hands session with numerous suckouts for a mere 60$ profit (ev 250)
