depends on the fish, obviously. I think abc works best against loose passives; you have to be a little tricky against loose aggressives, imo.

Trying to get set up to make a check withdraw (Sent Scan of ID and Utility bill). Anyone remember how long it takes them to process these so that I then can request a check? Sent Stuff in last Friday.

I should know anytime I want money sooner rather than later there would be delays.

Thanks,

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

The first rule of fight club is you do not talk about pot limit tables.

HAI GAIS

I'm trying to get back into the grind properly. I've modded FTP (thanks ca$hcow!) for +++ visibility. I've got HEM working. I'm tweaking the HUD now, and that will probably take some time to work through. Now I'm looking for some advice on masstableing, however. Is there anyone out there who cascades or stacks?

When I play 12 tables I tile (with some overlap, but I can see my cards on every table simultaneously). When I 16 table, there isn't room to tile the last 4 tables, so they end up "in between" and at times can be fully covered by other tables. Sometimes I miss my action, or worse, time out and don't notice because they don't pop and end up getting sat out of a good table. I'm looking for a better way to manage 'em.

I tried cascading 16 this weekend, but really didn't like it. I timed out a heckuva lot more than when I tiled, even with 25% of my tiled tables "hidden". I think being able to use the mirco-seconds in between hands to find tables where I have T3o from EP and checking "auto-fold" really helps out my flow. And when cascading having to make those decisions realtime in-turn leaves me short time at tables with real decisions.

So does anyone stack at FTP? Tips/tools/pointers?

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

I have a stupidly small laptop screen, so I have to stack my tables down the screen (like cards in a game of solitaire, and I have 2 columns going down the screen).
It's not great because I can't see the other tables so I can't glance at another table easily to see if hands get shown down and such, also mean when a table pops up I have to quickly scan who's in the hand, stack-sizes, look at HUD stats etc. And this is not that easy, I miss things and after I bet I think 'oh ****, didnt see X and Y.', and I time-out (flopped FH, ofc. fish shows KK when I time-out fold... /whinge)
Also starting tables is not as easy, stacking tables with some of them HU/SH is even more hectic.
So to sum up, my advice is if at all possible avoid this and tile tables, maybe buy new screen?.
As for tips; I do find that if I'm constantly flicking between tables instead of waiting for them to pop up I don't miss too much, and improved Last Hand History is helpful...thats about it.
Slightly longer posted than I'd anticipated apparently

Full Tilt Shortcuts

Lots of features like automatically pressing Time button

Not sure it works a 100% after the last update though

Everyone says that, but I've found it much less handy. PITA to flip back and forth and then watch the replayer. Can you explain a bit how you use it?

Kurt,

All located in the Software Section of 2+2

PlaceMint.ahk cascaded tables in 4 cloverleaf on 4 monitors.
PokerShortcuts,,,,,fulltilt shortcuts is being phased out.
HEM
SpadeEye for table selection

With the new FTP client software, NONE of these programs work perfectly any more. But they will get it right eventually.

Right now, pending tables pop up when needed almost all the time properly. The auto timebank still needs tweaking. Auto bet sizing has a way to go to be functionally sound....but still gets a "marginal" OK from me.

BTW, Poker Shortcuts works on Stars too..... a necessity imo.

I swear when I read it the first time this is what it said.

My advice is the same, do what feels right for you and experiment to find out what works well.

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

I personally have 4 "stacks" on my screen, with 2-4 tables cascaded in each stack. My main thing is I don't want to have my buttons lined up.

I use my second monitor for my PT3 replayer, note taking, IM's, Pandora, lobby, etc.

If I need to focus on a table I move it to the other monitor and watch the action. If really need to focus on a table because of a huge fish, I just close my other tables.

Excellent, thanks. Those threads are long; I'm going to have to set aside some time for reading.

SpadeEye is legal in FTP, right?

SpadeEye lite is, but I dont think it makes that big of a difference since we cannot datamine anymore.

SpadeEye Lite ftw

I don't understand laptops. If I had to play for any length of time on a laptop, I would suely add a card (if needed) to add a second monitor as I think 2 in minimum req.

<<< I have 19" CRT monitors you can have for the cost of shipping,,,,tho really not convinced they would make the journey intact. Before others ask,,,,offer good for KurtSF only,,,>>>

Sammy,,, Lite version has the FTP Seal of Approval. They can't allow PT3 to exist and ban SP Lite as they both have the same functionality of table selection.

The full version SE was bannable because it had a datamining component that was removed in the Lite version.

Re: ***Official 2009 Micro Stakes FR Full Tilt Regulars Thread***

TYTY on the clarification re: SpadeEye Lite.

I've got several v.good old CRTs sitting around, as well as a spare 19" LCD, so no need. The graphics chip on this laptop sucks though, so I never bothered trying to hook up a second monitor.

re: the laptop. Its actually not so much a laptop as a portable computer. It doesn't fit on my lap, but it is a nice dual-core rig with an awesome screen that I can put in a bag and set up at destinations. If I start winning again I will consider a pimped out desktop.
