Took us 6 1/2 months to get what the stars thread does like monthly, lol. Oh, well.

I've got to start playing again this month. The software meltdown and the free IM days got me lazier than normal.

I hate 50NL and I have to now sit here and grind my ass off on it for 2 days because I need to clear my mid-year bonus before I leave for vegas. Everytime I play this level the **** hits the fan harder then ever before its so unreal. I don't know how it is possible for me to be a 5BB/100 in 25NL over 90k hands and be a slightly losing player at 50NL .5BB/100. Plus the fact that I am probably winning at a higher rate then that at 25NL, but I don't have february and may in my PT3 yet. prob closer to about 7BB/100. I must break this trend and start beating up 50NL.

Or skip it...

I think I'll skip both 25NL and 50NL soon

If these ****ing "I play every hand" donks continues to hit ****ing jesus flops all the got damn time.

My advice is that you seriously need to grind it out at NL50 before you move up beyond that. When I took my first shot at 50NL in March I was winning like 6.5-7BB/100 @ 25NL, and I got smoked at 50NL.

I dropped down to 25NL for a month and worked on parts of my game that were being exploited at 50NL. Now I'm winning at 50NL over the last 50K hands, and have been on a big run my last 10K hands.

What I'm saying is, a good 25NL win-rate doesn't necessarily translate into a good winrate at 50NL. Just grind through it, this ****fest will be over for you soon enough.

So I was working on my setup today at the $0.02 tables and some guy completely started to get in my grill. I didn't realize that people at that level think they are gods gift to poker.

There is so much LOL strat talk at the 2nl tables it's hilarious.

I love how at 50 nl the people who do the most talking about strat and how hands played out etc are the loose passives.

yeah if someone is talking strat at NL50, then you just mark them down as exploitable.

You guys should listen to the strat talk at live games some time!

LOL Yeah, no good player is talking strat.

I just had a donk moment last night where I called a minR behind and obv spike a gutshot on the turn anyway. Villain didn't berate me but said "lucky you." (Hopefully villain isn't ITT lol). I just said "yeah, lol" to further solidify my image as a donk.

LOL Didn't have time to get through all of it, but

Lady: I think you have aces but I call.
Me: Why did you call if you think he has aces?
Lady: Well, if he has aces, my 4-4 is about the same as K-K there. And there is no way I am folding K-K pre-flop.

Equally valid.

****ing ****** regs are always getting lucky against me. They make terrible, transparent moves and yet somehow always manage to stumble into great situations.

This guy is running 21/11, keeps calling all of my steals and being a horrible aggro blufftard postflop.
