Yeah, @ 25 people are just learning to 3bet steals and do it like crazy. They have learned pf aggression is good but misapply it a lot.

Step 1 is to tighten up, steal less, and then when they come over the top of you AA, KK, AK etc you are happy about it.

Or you can do some well timed 4 bet bluffs (very infrequently) of people who are 3betting all of your steals. 2.5x their 3bet size is a good size that lets you fold if they shove. Make sure you keep the size the same for KK/AA. You can also flat and play in position against the people who will give up after the flop. But these strategies can get you in to some uncomfortable spots postflop, so...

The top 3 ways to adjust to this are:

1. Table select.
2. Table select.
3. Table select.

There are lots of 25 nl tables and you can easily find ones where the chumps in your blind aren't making you adjust.

I think the line depends on your skill differential against the table. The bigger your edge, the more hands you can play (from any position, including button) profitably. Clearly I overestimated my edge.

For me, I'm confident I'm +EV playing 30% of hands from the button in the micros, think I'm +EV at 40%, and pretty sure I'm spewey at 50%. Definitely still feeling it out.

As an aside, my profits from UTG and UTG+1 went through the roof when I started playing LAG. Go figure.

This. I was in the negative for like 30K hands.

i don't see a clear explanation on how that works, thanks.
No, the 'streak' contines as long as you get Bronze every month. So you if you get Iron in the 10th consectuive month after getting all Bronze, you get the medals for the 10th month, Iron level, 200 medals.

Anyone liked the CAP tables or are they just a big no-no in terms of EV??

I like PL tables though

No I am not cursed at 50NL no way guys. All I have done today was play 20 hands get KK and lose to QQ for about 3/4 a stack YAY.

Tables seem to suck right now. They were almost insta-filling a few hours ago, now I can't even get a table started. Some sort of sports evening in the US?

thanks for the advice man, i will definitely do this. i would steal when opening sb/btn w/atc, which was really successful at 10nl, but not so much at 25nl.

interesting changes, because i expected to loosen up slightly at 25nl, but i guess the misapplied aggression "metagame" will force me to do the opposite...

Congrats, I'm about 1500 away myself. Might lock that up tonight.

Question though: What do people spend their points on? I was saving up for a Cardrunner's membership, but that seems kind of silly in light of TrulyFreePokerTraining. SNG satelites for cash? Random swag?

Oh what I would give for just a straight bonus...

if you buy $26 sat tokens do they still take it out of your MGR?

oh and how long is this 5x promo on for? I might go and bash out like 10k points tonight

Played my first session since the new SW came out.

I like it a lot. I think it runs a lot smoother, and it seems the action is faster. I notice the Hands per hour is up.

Plus the tables were really good last night.
