yeh i'm pretty sure I only played like a few hundred hands of 50NL HU those days, nowhere near enough to get 200 points

anyways I hope I get to keep them, would be nice a nice boost towards ironman lol
07-12-2009 , 12:06 AM
lol yeah need to get something back for all these bs changes
07-12-2009 , 12:56 AM
everyone was credited w 200 points on the 9th and 10th toward iron man status. well at least 200 points.
07-12-2009 , 01:56 AM
I think the 8th-1th, but I am not totally sure.
07-12-2009 , 02:03 AM
I got credit on the 8th - 10th for 200 so far (i earn far less on average).
I am hoping today as well because I did not reach 50 as I got distracted by Gears of War 2 for about 8 hours
07-12-2009 , 02:27 AM
^^^that sucks...i put in my regular grind, i want the extra points to clear the mid-year bonus damnit

Those points don't count toward the mid-year.

What are you playing these days?, cuz those are some crazy points. Also, I played like 10 hands on the 9th and got 200FTP's, but I actually earned over 200FTP's on the 10th so I don't know about that.

This kid has been playing like a total nutcase for the last 5 levels or so. Watched him repop and raise in the BB with 39o just trying to steal, which was a way overbet btw, and he got snap called and won. Few other suckouts as well, but nothing like this. Kid has literally raised my blind almost every hand for the last 7 orbits and here is the justice I get when he don't raise me. This is the reason why I don't play tournaments. I honostly believe it takes no skill to play in tournaments, which is why bad players like them because you can luckfesst your way to wins WAY easier then in cash games. Anyway enough ranting look at this BS.

Just doubled my $150 deposit ($301) playing 2NL/5NL/10NL.

Tilt also gives more to its micro players than stars via their points so Im happy.
(probably going to ship the hoody from the points store)

Anyone here also play the single table sng's in addition to FR?
I may start mixing those in as well and was wondering about any feedback on the games.

Good job man!
I put $100 on the site a week ago and am planning on moving up through the ranks as I get 50 buy-ins for the next level, so my move up won't be as quick as yours.
Good thing I can put in a ton of hands (compared to what i'd normally do) so that I can make it quicker. I'm hoping that I have to spend less than 3 total weeks at NL2 in order to get to $250 to hit up the NL5 games.

TY

I seen a few pages back in this thread that you are also in this type of a situation. GL with your progress.

If you don't mind me adding, the 2NL and 5NL games play exactly the same. I wouldn't wait to make the jump up to 5NL. Something like ~$150 is more than enough for 5NL. Seems at 10NL the games start to get a bit nittier so Im looking at opening up my game when its folded to me in late position since some of the profits start coming from nits folding to blind steals without ever adjusting.

(that sng graph didn't look like much fun either)

Another update thread 7/12 oO

Anyone wanna do a sidebet for 7/13 - 7/14 threads xD ??

Congrats Checkmate!

Personally, I'm moving away from sit and goes because you could play perfectly and still get destroyed on variance, much more than cash as far as I can tell.

Also, FT always credits everyone with Iron status on days when they have outages or connection problems.

cheers
How I play against other regs is player and history dependent.

first, congrats!

secondly, don't play sngs. i used to be a low limit sng player, then i realized the swings are totally insane, you don't make as much money as a cash game player, u have to buy sng wiz, etc. etc.

Unless you are punishing yourself for something, there is no need to be such a BR nit up to 25nl at least. Just set a rule for moving back down if you need to and stick with it imo.

Crafty veterans, imo. Don't let the stakes they are playing fool you.

Good job fellas, gogogogogo

Is there a thread or post that explains how to install card mods for FT after the update?
