Not just the software to think about. If you are going to mass table, why do it on FTP at 27% RB (majority of mass tablers profit comes from RB). When stars VIP system gives you a higher return.

Just wanted to say that I don't mind FT's tables and all that, but the lobby is just... horrible. I don't look forward to playing on there just because table selection is going to be a bitch. No filters? No sorting? Blechhhhh.

Good points. Definitely agree on the support issue. I never thought about the bet pot button helping less experienced players. But it has to help.

My bias might come from having started on FTP initally (back in the day) because it was the first to have mac compatiable software. I was used to the 'look and feel' of it. Stars still seems 'ugly to me. Its harder for me to see the pot size, button, who is left in the hand, etc. I know that there are skins you can download, but they are all pc only. (at least I think so. if not, could someone point me in the right direction?)

If Stars looked and felt the same as FTP in regards to table view, there would be no comparision. Except the rakeback issue of course.

Big advantage with tilt is free cardrunners and stox membership, something I just found out last night, right before the start of the month, I now consider my cold streak a hot streak because without it I wouldn't have taken a few days off and seen this offer.

Signed up last night, earnt 7k points in march so a nice free month of cardrunners and stoxpoker yay. No ftp points cost or mgr or rake penalty.

Yeah that's a great deal, I'll definitely be doing that once I get on there. FTP has some great incentives, it just lacks in the software/CS department.

Free as in purchased with points? I saw it in the store, but i'm assuming that it does go against mgr if it is bought through that.

I honestly don't have a problem table selecting since I really base it upon the notes I have on villains than looking at VPIP and avg pot size. There are sooooooooo many terrible NL50 regs on FTP it doesn't even matter.

yeah the freetraining is the way to go. Just takes a month after you sign up, and you get truly free training. I have had it for about 4 months now, no drawbacks I can see.

Just transferred 1k (and will deposit some more) and going to play 50NL FR... Played it on another site as well and took shots at 100NL (with success) but lack of tables on that level made me try FullTilt. For now I'll try 50NL, 6-tabling but hoping to increase that as well... 50NL because the other site was soft so have to see how I adjust.

Reason for FT? Rakeback... Rakeback and nr of players and all. Possible reason for leaving FT? The damn crappy lobby table filter, that was the first thing I noticed. I really have no freaking idea how to table select yet in an easy way.
