Yeah, he had six outs you only had two, he had to win.

Agent_Fish, no offense taken.

Which do you think was the biggest mistake - calling the flop or calling the river?

In chat last night, this fish was going on and on about stat tracking programs and how it was "cheating". (I replied that I hear about all kinds of programs etc, but most of it is crap.) After he finally shut up, he beat a reg by hitting his second pair on another crappy hand he never should have played PF.

Reg starts to trash talk him, calling him an idiot, etc. etc.

SIGH.

Tried to stop the reg in chat ("friendly game people"), but in case any of you have a problem going off on fish in chat - KNOCK IT THE **** OFF!

I don't want my fish chased off because you can't keep your mouth shut in chat!

When you berate the fish - YOU ARE THE BIGGER IDIOT, IDIOT!

I never understand this. Why would anyone want a fish to leave, or worse give them impetus to try and get better.

I see good regs berate fish all the time on FT, and honestly, nothing tilts me more.

how do people have time to type when Multi-tabling? I dont even bother reading it... I'm to focused on the task at hand...

doing things like this... Since 12pm Midnight PST

but in all seriousness... nothing is more tilting then berating the fish. Not only that I don't even know if I'm up or down usually until the session ends... unless I'm running really good and have huge stacks everywhere like above... when I'm multi-tabling stacked I just don't even see the beats to make me want to berate a fish... It really helps with the poker mind when you just dont even worry about it until you're done with your session.

When he calls the turn I probably put him on a PP higher than 7s. Therefore, I think I check/fold river. On the river your best case is a tie obviously. Seems like Villain has a better FH than you a lot of the time. He did play super tricky though.

Next time you see this happen, come to the fishs' defense. Defend his play and be nice to him so he doesn't leave the table.

I honestly can't remember the last time a fish won a big pot off me and I didn't congratulate them, and like you, it just pisses me off when I see other ******ed regs ruining my work.

I agree, I also love it when fish start calling you a fish...I then act immature to try fit in to their thoughts of me, instead of explaining why they're wrong and I'm right

Good call noidea, I'll start doing this, too.

i do this as well...esp in live play. always say u wud have taken the fishes line because villain might have AK (or other hand that means fish would have won)

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, after watching a couple of his Vids yesterday I realize that Splits thought process is about 17 levels above mine.

Hey guys, I posted this in the chat thread aswell, but if any of you have money on Pokerstars that you are looking to get onto FTP, please let me know since I have ~$5k on FTP that I want to move to Stars.
01-26-2009 , 05:08 PM
Hey there, I used to be an FTP reg, took most of the last 6 weeks off but starting to get back to playing. SN is BigPotFan and I usually play the NL50 deep tables so say hi if you're there, especially if you're on my left so I can change tables

I believe I've seen you. I like the double entendre you've got going on there with your SN. I've got you as 24/17/2 winning 89ptbb/100 over 24 hands. Definitely sustainable.

I was at a few tables with QQ-quads at 50NL a couple days ago.

So far my shot at 50NL is going disgustingly poor....rakeback/initial deposit bonus is keeping me at breakeven...is that sick or what?

Apparently, I'm the most horrible of fish and spew money Come find me.

If the board paired, your two pair (with aces) would be higher than his right?
