Nice thing to consider if you can play evenings is to load up tables an hour or 2 before end of the day server time and continue on for an hour or 2 after, you can log enough points for both days in one big session. Recently I play almost every day according to the fulltilt counter, but actually dont log on a couple nights a week.

First of all you need to download and install AHK. Then you can simply go to the AHK page on Overcards.com, pick and download the script you like and just run it. Descriptions on what the various scripts do are given there.

The # of days thing for ironman is tilting me. I could probably get silver pretty easy this month (my first full month playing FT) but I'm wondering if it's even worth it? I'm going on a 5 day trip and won't be able to play so that is going to hurt. It seems like you have to collect a lot of medals to buy a bonus. Should I stress over silver vs bronze or not even worry about it? Now I'm seeing why Ironman sucks.

Basically it affect the size of your semi annual bonus.

For each month of:

Bronze $25
Silver $50
Gold $75
Iron $100

So you're talking about a bonus difference of $25 bucks for one month between Bronze and Silver.

For $25 maybe not worth stressing over?

If its easy to get then why not, its a few extra medals and an extra 25$ on the mid-year bonus (granted they do it again), but if its going to affect they way your playing and you arent playing your A game then probably not worth it. Not worth the extra stress or losing a buyin or more because you arent playing good just to get an extra 25$.

Also the bonus medals you get is cumulative over all levels bronze-ironman. And by that I mean you can be bronze month 1, bronze month, 2, silver month 3, and the bonus on the fourth month is for 3 months in the program even if you go back to bronze or up to gold/ironman, not to mention the medals are pretty small value even if you place the next step up.

Medals can be worth up to $0.20 each (if you purchase the $600 bonus for 3000 medals) and are worth less if you purchase a smaller bonus.

I don't have a single medal so far

fwiw i remember reading somewhere that the cash bonuses were deducted from your rakeback account..

I'm clearing the 600 first deposit bonus right now and I still get rakeback - but the bonus does reduce the rakeback. I'm still trying to figure out at what point stars makes more sense. I get the impression that stars is better if you can hit platinum but straight rakeback at FT is better below that. Can anyone confirm this?

That's the general consensus. If you can make Supernova,(which being platnum monthly will do for you) Stars is better, anything below that and RB plus whatever else you get from Tilt is better.

It's funny, your complaining about the #'s of people on tilt. I remember about a year ago and the lobby would be hard pressed to hit 50k, now it's regularly over 70k. Now that does count all the play money people too, but I know there has been an increase in cash table numbers as well.

I played every day for the last 2 months of the year.

Let me start of by saying i am new to the FR scene, most of my poker background consists of 6max with a little HU.
At the beginning of this month i started multi tabling 50NL, mostly 10-14 tbls.
