Table Ninja works sporadically for me. I've got a stacked view with windows 7 and sometimes the mouse buttons will work, others they won't.

Any ideas/other programs that people use that'd be better?

I've read over the general TNFT Full Tilt settings that I should be using, and have them all matched

Sigh. I must be the biggest degen. I was too tired to grind so I decided to single table 2knl. I can't tell you how bad of an idea that was. I was so bored I probably played like 50/50, 0% ft3bet. Lost like 2k. And it was like I didn't even care. At all! I finally pulled myself together and closed down. WTF is wrong with me?

BTW, I just finished playing at a table with a villain like that -- I didn't win anything off him but his last hand he:

• raised 4x in the SB (180bb, 40/20) with 1 EP limper (60bb)
• 3 barrelled with AQxxx (PSB AI on the river)
• showed down with 66 (EP called him down with QJ -- I hate you too)

Last night I tried PlaceMint. This is the **** for table placement and hotkeys to move tables. Unfortunately it doesn't work with TN-FT so today I tried just using PlaceMint (not TNFT). Betting with the mouse sucks but tables not placed perfectly (especially when stacked) tilts the **** out of me.

If you look at yesterdays (or this mornings) TN-FT thread you will see a link to the PlaceMint thread. The documentation on how to get started with PlaceMint sucks big time but the actual program is awesome.

As for TN-FT, it has pretty much always worked well for me (when not used with PlaceMint) 8-16 tabling. Sure, it has crashed on rare occassion but otherwise working as advertised.

I recently moved from playing exclusively at PokerStars to mostly at FT.

I hate shortstackers but play badly against them. At PS, I played 50bb min tables exclusively but several folks have mentioned how bad the 50NL and below SS players are so I decided I should check them out. In an effort to learn how decent SSers (skill wise -- not human being wise) think I decided to try and become one for a short while. 20k hands and -15 SSBI below EV later I just couldn't take it any more: I fired up just a few FTP deep tables and promptly made 1/2 BI (full stack) without running well. Of course starting new tables helped. God it feels so refreshing to have to think on the turn and even river!

I am going to continue shortstacking for a while longer to improve my SS game. I know other SS haters may despise me for it but I really can't motivate myself to learn SS ranges (in order to counter them) without SSing myself. The good news is that my endgame is to play full stack but have a better understanding of how to crush short stackers. Presumably some of this knowledge will still be valuable when FT raises the min buyin to 30bb.

RANDOM COMMENT: FT canned avatars suck. I like PS avatars which actually reflect something about the image the player wants to project but I have the idiotic FT avatars turned off.

I had a rough time with PlaceMint... I was overwhelmed and timed out a couple of times with my normal number of tables (which never happens when I tile). It's worth noting though that I've never used any hotkeys before.

Do you fold because:
(a) a 35/22 normally bets big with trash and chks monsters so he is repping a monster (AK,KK+) with this line
(b) You've only invested $3 when he shoves so risk/reward is terrible.

Meh, I never said it was a super obvious fold, I just think it is at least a little bit close. But I'm a nit and I love folding. I know (b) had no affect on my decision, but I had been playing a bit with the fish a bit and he didn't seem to be a huge whale or anything. I don't think he ever has complete air there. I just feel like he has a boat more often than Kx or 44, and I need to be correct about 50% of the time. If anyone wants to say this is a call, or an instacall, I won't disagree. I just kinda went with my gut.
