I just sat at the first four deep tables I saw and never moved as long as a table didn't break. Nothing more annoying than going after a fish than to just have some shortie to my left shove and both me and the fish have to fold.
yeah I agree with the 50-200 for all tables as well. I mean shortstackers can still go infest the CAP games anyway...

They get worse as you move up, unfortunately. Most of the shortstackers at 25nl and 50nl aren't very good and play a nitty game but from my little experience at 100nl so far they're much more rampant and more of them are positionally aware and are actually decent.

I hope they all burn in hell

Here is a general guideline: If the fish is winning, they will tighten up and play more conservatively with their $.

If they lost $, they will try and get it back any way they can get em!

Does anyone know if buying into a tournament and/or SnG with full tilt points will count as "Used Points" against your rakeback?

It will deduct from your RB.

I'm considering buying a named table with Iron Man medals. The only thing preventing me is that I'd be totally embarrassed if it never filled up. A while ago I stopped caring what other people thought, but man... it could feel a big public laugh-in-the-face if I spent a BI on something that was never used.

Thoughts?

Laugh first, laugh harder.

Do what you want.

What stakes are you thinking?

Bought a $100 bonus in iron man store... last friday. Support hasn't even gotten back to me yet. I hadn't experienced this complete email support shutdown until now. First of all, that **** should be automated. I would've cleared it last friday already and bought a hooker damnit.

I mean if anything, isn't it somewhat of a complement if people don't sit at it? It means they're scared of your game

What stakes are you thinking? I'm sure it'll get used (although the ones at 100nl often seem empty), especially if you sit in often enough.

Just explain to the hooker you have a pending bonus and it's as good as cash....

Last night I:

* ran $500 below EV, and
* got stacked 3 times by players with >50% vpip when they were holding AA, AA, AK.

Today I'm finding it a little difficult to sit.
12-09-2009 , 02:29 PM
yeah those are fun. just recently i got stacked 3 times by a 90% vpip player who shoves preflop or on the flop every hand.

Yeah, I had that experience my last session. I semi-bluff shoved the flop with a monster draw (two overs, OESD, flush draw) and was called by a guy with a medium pocket pair. I hit the flush and stacked him. The rest of the time, he would play every pot I was in and try to steal every one. I folded a few, C/R him a few times. Then I finally stacked him again when he shoved his TPNK against a 2 pair I had.

Then he left and I resumed stealing blinds with impunity.

I was going to, but I'm saving my MTT money to play the daily $11 superstacks. MiniFTOPS looks fun, but I couldn't stand playing for a million hours against a donkalicious field and then busting before the FT. xD

Good luck to all who do play!

To the best of my knowledge:

If you qualified via a FTP point SAT you'll receive FTPs. If you qualified via a real money SAT you'll receive T$.

I'm pretty sure the answers are $1.215 and nothing.

I'm 99% on the first (1/2 cent per point * 900 points = $4.50 * 27% = $1.215), but I'm only like 80% on the second.

if you buy a $100 deep table, I promise you that I will start it if it is not running, or sit at it if it is during every session I play.

No bull.
12-09-2009 , 05:49 PM
DDAWD, no need to continue arguing with dwalker in that other thread. His massive non-intelligence and personal attacks are obvious, you'll just give yourself an ulcer. I put him on ignore like two answer threads ago.

I commend your civil arguments and fortitude, though.
