Stove sez: 22% vs Axs made flush and roughly 38% vs some raggedy XXs.

I don't know about your Flipper Switch, but my Flipper Switch has been out of alignment as of late. Some aggro player and I'd think more about calling, a 32/5 and I felt he wouldn't fire a PSB without something like Axs or KT/Js. Plus I had action on other tables pending - and had lost 2 races for stacks earlier in the session. Maybe there's some slight EV in there, but I wasn't feeling it at the time.

You dont think he bets JJ here, or QJ here, or 55 here or AA here or KK here?

You folded top set to a fish, odd.

Yeah, I don't know how you can eliminate JJ, 55 from his range.

You think he'll fold a flush if the board pairs?
12-06-2009 , 05:08 AM
While we're at it, I don't know how I feel about checking when you flopped the joint in an unraised pot, either.
12-06-2009 , 10:00 AM
Jeez I am never folding there against a 32/5 with top set

Why are you sticking 230bbs in on the turn?

And fold on the flop.

Yeah weird line. But seems that variance can although be in the other direction for some of us

Wanted to report a successful trade with Funky. I can safely say he is not a scammer... yet.

If anybody else wants any FT monies for stars let me know.

wtf@the qq hand
12-06-2009 , 05:05 PM
Yeah certainly could have mucked a winner there. As passive as this guy had been playing I didn't think he'd pot the flop OOP w/o the flush, and would have c/r'd the flop with the set instead of giving me a chance at a free turn card. I did have outs there but I don't read him for having a set either (possibly 55 but he bets JJ pre imo), and I doubt he pots here w/o the flush, since he has shown no aggression previously, or shown any tendency to bet one or two pair type hands prior. This guy check/calls and gets to SD. So basically everyone advocates a fist-pump-get-it-in-against-a-passive-guy-firing-PSB's-all-of-a-sudden when the flush makes it? Against an IFS or reg I make the turn call.

Nice EV difference compensation.

Now i'm thinking about miniFTOPS, still want 20BI more :P

p.s. we splitted HU, so its +620 "only".
12-07-2009 , 02:00 AM
good chance I am going deep into this $5 Cashout on FTP.. Please god don't FML full of "shoulda cashed out " thoughts? One time..?

**edit**
anybody have any clue for Cashout tourney strategy? $5 buy-in... I could cashout now for $60... solid return.. but if I FT it I get cashout for stack and play for 900+ 1st place?

Is it just me or do you see a lot of people shoving like 100BB on a tiny pot in 25NL?

You see that from time to time.

Hope I get my internet connection fixed today so I can play some tonight.
Haven't played since last wednesday after spewing away 3BI in 100 hands.
