OK I see (I am a bit slow today b/c of hung over).

Anyway not sure if this is the right play. I mean open raise / call 3bet for set mining although sucks.

So 4bet?

my WR at NL100, I have 2.12 difference between playing on my laptop versus my Desktop, with my desktop being higher. Variance?

GL man

BTW is anybody else where who is considering to play in the mini-FTOPS?

I am thinking about playing at least the 20+2 one (Event #20) and depending on how I run there and/or if I can maybe sat my way in the 12+1 KO (Event #24) and the ME.

I'm not sure yet. Instead of #24 I'd consider #2 (7-game).

Yea 7-game is so nice but my game is too bad to be more then dead money in this tourney....
11-22-2009 , 03:15 PM
I'm playing in a few I think.

Have these in mind...

Event #7: $10 + $1 NL Hold 'em Rebuy
Event #11: $20 + $2 PLO/8
Event #16: $24 + $2 PLO Knockout
Event #20: $20 + $2 NL Hold 'em
Event #23 :$12 + $1 NL Hold 'em Knockout
Bonus: Main event if I do well in any of the above

The nice thing about mixed tournaments is that they're full of dead money. Although I'll be missing the triple draw rotation.

Is it just me or do those deep-stacked, ante-tables @ 10NL attract all the gambling fish? Not that I'm complaining of course!

They sure do... Unfortunately I haven't done too well on them yet.

Right the 7-game skill is in general pretty bad... Maybe I can sat me in. Would be great fun.

And ea, I do not understand why they do not have triple draw on FT.

I think he means the guy post play with min raises... besides this I think the hand is pretty std....

The hand isn't that bad, although his minraises are pretty bad. I meant his play in general leading up to that hand. I didn't want to name names, so I posted the hand (which I assume its owner will recognize).

Thanks for making me spell everything out...

by the 2nd minraise I might be thinking I'm behind a set or 2pr. If Hero doesn't hold NFD or overpair he could get away from the "standard" reraise, no? Can't begin to tell you how much it sucks to finally hit your set, only to have villain escape. Yeah the minR sucks, w/e. This is a cooler and nothing more imo.
