Looks like I'll be back at FT for a bit while I clear the bonus thingy. What's the point/hand at 50NL? 100NL? And no worries, I've switched to 6m recently so I doubt I'll be at any FR tables unless it turns out that mass tabling for point accumulation is the way to go for bonus clearing.

Point is equal to the rake taken for any pot in which you are dealt a hand. I think it maxes out at 3 points per hand.

My active bonus doesnt clear till December 6th, and I am not going to have enough time to clear it before then so looks like im out

Didn't find it in the normal way myself but with this one I saw it... waiting with claiming it a bit though since I'll be gone this entire weekend so I'll claim it after that

Looks like there will be some easy money at the tables

So I get about 200pts for every 450 hands at NL100.

I am a definite spewtard these days . Also, you never PM'd me about the sweat session since I didn't finish that prop bet. Ty ty for the point info!

Looks like you needed to have actually deposited money to full tult to qualify for the bonus. None of you freeloading freerollers!

sure. let me play on FT some this week so I can get the swing of things. If he's playing on Stars then i can help him whenever. Tell him to PM me and we can set it up.

Got the $100 bonus after all. Just had to go to Request/Check my bonus offer... in the lobby and there it was.

No mails, nothing about it, sneaky bastards!

Almost half the December Tournament BI, sweet!

Hrm, so it takes 333.33 FT points for every $20 release. My bonus is $500 so that's 8333.25 FT points that I need to accumulate which would only take 18,750 hands at 100NL. That seems awfully low to me. I was thinking it would take me like 50k hands or something to clear the bonus, no? Did I do something wrong in my calculation?

Sounds right to me

Cleared mine at 25NL in about 50-60k hands

I can't do math any more. I am a consultant, I just give post grads money to do all that technical work....
11-16-2009 , 03:51 PM
and probably less hands if you played 6 max.

k. Yeah, i cleared my $600 bonus back in the day at 25NL/50NL so maybe that's why it would seem that I'd need way more hands.

I hate sets, that is why I am playing NL100 DEEP ante tables, I just play SC's and crack people sets!
11-16-2009 , 04:17 PM
Sammy, what size you you PFR (no limpers first in) on those ante tables?

Teach me to hit one flop when I play SC, pleeeeease!!!!

Saw kurt running over some 100NL cap tables, followed one lucky ass fish after he left my table with my money. He sat to your right and was all in (well AI at the cap table atleast) pretty much every hand
11-16-2009 , 04:21 PM
Kurt:
Well, I usually do 3x +1bb per limper at normal tables, but at these tables I have been doing 4x+2bb per limper....espesscially since so many of them are fit or fold post flop.
11-16-2009 , 04:31 PM
lol I think I'm doing it wrong.

I've been doing 5.5+1, which really cuts down SPRs post flop. But I do 60bb at regular tables now anyway, so 100bb is kinda the same thing at ante tables, just a slight increase in stakes. (Like the old .15/.30 tables compared to .10/.25.)
11-16-2009 , 04:34 PM
i play 50nl deep and ante too sammy
i raise about the same, so many limpy fish that i make it really big sometimes pre

thing is i got all of those set in on the flop and got the most ridiculous runner runner **** every time
not one set < set either, just every fish hitting every ridiculous draw.

this one is my favorite
MP: $12.75
CO: $53.45
BTN: $25.20
SB: $10.80
BB: $28.85
UTG: $50.00
Hero (UTG+1): $54.65
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is UTG+1 with T T
1 fold, Hero raises to $2, MP calls $2, CO calls $2, BTN calls $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.50
Flop: ($10.25) 9 4 T (5 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $7, MP folds, CO raises to $15.50, BTN folds, BB folds, Hero raises to $52.65 all in, CO calls $35.95 all in
Turn: ($113.15) Q (2 players - 2 are all in)
River: ($113.15) 8 (2 players - 2 are all in)
Final Pot: $113.15
CO shows J J (a straight, Queen high)
Hero shows T T (three of a kind, Tens)
CO wins $110.15

ive been breaking even for so long i just wanna ship some dough for once

enty... I too remember the days when I used to think a set was a lock. Now, as I'm shoving with a set, my thoughts are more along the lines of "OK then, let's flip for it!" lol
