lol no it was no-limit. whychu think i said starting tables is fun? also my turn raise and river shove would be impossible if it was really a LHE table. i like to buy-in a weird amount on an empty table and play almost 100/0 for the first 10 hands. imo wut i do preflop doesnt matter much in heads up. i also hav an irrational fear of hit and runners. so if i play fishy the first 10 hands my villain will be tempted to stay.

Just threw some money on FTP after being a long time exclusive customer of PokerStars to take advantage of some bonuses and I've got a few questions for you guys.

Is there any table theme on FTP that is similar to the PokerStars Hyper-Simple theme and if not what do you guys use? I can't seem to find any table theme that doesn't make my eyes bleed.

How long does it take to get permission to play more than 9 full ring cash games at once?? I put in my request yesterday to be able to 20 table and I've yet to get a response. I guess PokerStars truly is one of a kind in support.

What is with the Iron Man challenge promotion? Can anyone dumb it down for me? Is this something I must sign up for or am I already in the promotion for being a real money player similar to the PS's VIP program?

Thanks for the help.

I think i might take you up on a hours worth of coaching HP ...

Im only playing the quarters at the moment .. but my record at FR has never been that great IMO ..

My poker career is a weird one ... ive done things the total opposite to everyone else ..

About 4 years ago .. i started with a $500 bankroll and jumped straight into $200nl 6 max .. ( nobody mentioned bankroll management in those days ) ..

Things started off great and i was soon playing $400 nl with a bankroll of $15k ..

Then the tilt problems kicked in .. I got affected by the big swings in 6 max .. and at $400nl.... the swings can be huge !!

In the end i was not mentally strong enough to deal with 6 max .. and ventured into FR about 2 years ago ..

Ever since then .. my poker has slowly declined .. players have got better and i found myself hardly playing and just withdrawing monies over time ..

TBH .. ive allways had doubts about FR .. whether i play it right .. or maybe just a simple example of me having over expectations of FR win rates compared to 6 max.

I like the idea of playing a lot of tables .. it helps with tilt IMO .. and thats why i keep playing FR .

I have a online friend who is a high stakes winner at HU and 6 max ... and hes going to do a few sweat sessions at 6 max for me ... he hates FR and gives me grief for playing this type of poker

But im willing to give FR one more chance .. and some coaching will maybe let me know if my game is good enough or hopefully point out some serious leaks that have held my FR progression back for ages .

I will be in touch HP ...

-Look in the Software forum on 2+2, there are threads with free mods.

-Max is 16 and support is slow.

-From your Cashier, click on My Promotions, then Iron Man Challenge, it explains it pretty clearly. Also, they give out a bonus semi-annually: $100 for each month of Iron, $75 for each month of Gold, $50 for each month of Silver and $25 for each month of Bronze.

Another question guys ...

Im quite willing to hire a coach for a few sessions because my game needs looking at ..but what about .. mental coaches .. any out there that are up for grabs ?

There seems to be a million coaches for poker skills ... but how many are out here for tilt problems ..

I do have tilt .. but more in a negative thinking way .. ill throw the odd outburst out but im normally calm withing a few minutes ...but by then i dont want to play poker ..

I think my issues are more mental than poker ability .. ive been fighting these demons for what seems like ages .. .and there comes a point where if things dont improve in that aspect ... your never going to make it as a poker player ..

There will come a time where after my latest debacle i have to question whether its worth it unless i solve these issues .

There's Tommy Angelo (DC). He wrote the book "Elements of Poker", if you haven't read that. Stox has Jared Tendler.

Both have videos on their respective sites.
