Yeah, I agree.

I was just trying to point out that Support may not distinguish between you running Full Tilt but not playing tables (and thus using PTR) and running Full Tilt and playing tables and using PTR. The link is ambiguous. The comment support emailed me is not:

The use of Poker Table Ratings is prohibited while running Full Tilt Poker.

Meh, never realised this... I sometimes use PTR to look up someone on the tables. I'll stop doing that now, but how would FT find out?
11-07-2009 , 06:11 PM
Cookies maybe? Or some people say FTP can see your screen while you play.
11-07-2009 , 06:14 PM
My bet would be cookies.

Still, nothing says you can't use PTR and THEN log in to Full Tilt.

I emailed them because I saw no point taking chances.

FTP deny this is possible.

**** poker.

I've been disappointed in my volume lately, so I've decided to step up my volume this month. So far I'm down several BI, 9 BI below EV.

It's like someone's playing a joke on me. It never ends.

FT and Stars will soon consider reading "Poker books" as an unfair advantage lol.

anyone have any money on stars they want to exchange for FTP money??? i'm looking to get about @200 onto stars atm and haven't come up with anyone...

I think next time I want to drink and play cards, I'll stick to spades. I probably bluffed off like 3BI tonight.

If anyone is missing any rungood this month, it might be my fault. Not sure how close to standard this is, but I played 1300 hands today and had 22 sets (4 turned into boats and 1 turned into quads)

If you never fold your PP preflop, you expect to get a set 0.6% of the time. That's about 8.5 over 1300 hands.

You're very good at poker.

[6*13/(1326*9)]*1300=8.5

I suck at math, is that just for flopping sets or is it for having a set on any street? The river has been my friend today.
11-08-2009 , 02:41 AM
I am such a noob after a few pints...I can't stop berating donkeys...not the loose ones...just the whiney ones that I beat.

Ex1: I draw out with two overs, a gutshot and a backdoor fd against a shorty who slides with JJ over pair.

teemo28: unreal....keep fishing you JACK@SS
Halvbjorn: I would have folded if you had a real stack
Halvbjorn: look in the mirror for blame
teemo28: you just keep calling with that crap
Halvbjorn: lol

Ex2: My weak top pair is not challenged in the BB, and I hit an unlikely two pair, getting paid off by a fellow with TPGK who cannot drop it.

RunkDog2: what a joke
Halvbjorn: you're right...one pair should beat 2 pair
Halvbjorn: it's not fair

Somebody stop me.

I'm getting a different number...I again blame the beer.

1/13 is the chance of a PP

7.5 - to - 1 is the odds of getting a set from a PP.

Therefore, (1/13)*(1/8.5) is the odds of flopping a set in a particular hand,
and (1/13)*(1.8.5)*1300 = 11.76

In other words...22 is running hot...about double hot.

Where's my math error?

How do you play while drunk. Apparently there's a 2+2 member who spews multiple BI while drunk

Where do you get that your chance of getting a pp is 1/13?

There are 1326 possible hands.

For each rank, there's 6 pairs. 78 in total. 1 in 17. I assumed that odds of flopping a set are 8-1. Maybe 7.5 is more accurate.
78/1326=
