So here goes ..
IMO, the best part is the free bonuses every 6 months.

In addition to your medals (which are marginally useful) you get a guaranteed bonus every six months based on your iron man status in each of the previous months. $100 for each month at Iron, $75 for each month at Gold, $50 for each month at Silver and $25 for each month at Bronze. Of course these bonuses do affect your MGR, but it's still something.

There was a pretty good general discussion here:

yea... but you have to clear it with play. will take a lot of playing time at 25nl to clear a large bonus.

True...2 points per dollar to clear. But they give you two months.

no. it's only a month. it was two months this past summer because of software issues at FTP.

This is partially the reason WE have trouble convincing FTP to change the structure. When fullstackers see a table like this and say "OMG, this has gotten out of hand."

(a) If they want to play against each other, good for them. It means one more of my tables they can't sit.

(b) but even more tilting to me is that this table might not be so bad to play......for us! If two or three of these guys are bad, insta profit. But cmon fullstackers, THIS table is WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY easier to play than the full tables that have 3 or 4. Gear down and play their game. When people say to adjust, THIS table can be adjusted for.

It really tilts me that thinking fullstackers continually say the above table is a bad one. We've had screen shots on here with 8 shorts and a full. If the full is competent, he's there for a reason. It may not be as profitable as a full ring table with two large fish.....but maybe, just maybe, the fish aren't around or have 12 people on a wait list.

I know this was written too fast and may not be coherent....but hopefully you get the idea. The above table is NOT the bane of our existance.

Flop cbet is not optimal, but that can be b/c it's 5NL and people just aren't folding as much as at 25 or 50 i.e

Think you have a leak in the BB. I don't think you need to raise/3bet that much b/c bad people will still pay you off if you hit. People usually don't call 3bets that light even if it's 5NL. Try to only raise regs with premiums and 65s-ish hands and call with hands like QJ.

You also seem to CC quite a bit in CO and BTN

And it's a really small sample size, so it could very well be just variance.

Sign up for next months sweat sessions imo.

<------------Sad he missed the KQs from UTG debate.

<------------Glad he wasn't needed, though--excellent work, Brock.

That's the nit-concept Imfromsweden, everything less then AA is dominated and you have to be really careful with playing it

Cor blimey ... i still have problems when i reach 1500 hands in a session and as of yet .. could not hit a barn door from 5 yards ..

I go slightly into " injustice " mode when every QQ & KK faces an ace flop and every AK etc faces a 7 high flop .

My heckles on the back of neck goes one step further when my cbets then start getting raised my villians who fold to a cbet 90% of the time when i finally hit a piece of a flop...

Im fairly ok .. for 500 hands, even 1k hands .. after that im trying to control myself ...which takes effort ! ..

Any tips ... apart form just play 1k hand sessions

Oh; didn't know that.

BTW I screwed up...it is 20 pts per dollar.

Therefore I project for January I'll need 12,000 pts to
clear my $600...400pts a day for a month. That's a bit tricky, but not impossible.
