I will get mad, as rotting pumpkins add to my bottom line.

Is it OK to berate regs who sit out HU instantly after stacking you?

is there something up with FTP tonight ?

Not played there for a while and decided to play tonight .

Open up a couple of tables and choose one of my saved layouts .. once that happens, all my tables then disappear to the bottom and i cant get them to leave the bottom toolbar unless i maximize the table ..

What the heck is going on ? ..

I have a table mod off fozzy .. had this been buggered since a new update or something ?

Cheers

Well I am not that great so what can I say
I´m at 5.25 ptbb/100 right now on nl5 and I know that could be bigger and I´m also sure i got a few leaks (like beeing way too tight) and I also do the ocasional spew when I´m on semisteam...but I still find this to be a good WR for me personally cuz I have been a loosing player b4 and I was beeing tilted very easily b4...
Thank you nice to be here

One thing you can do is start working on your redline game. I know people say that you can't redline in the micros, but it is very possible if you pick your spots and your opponents well. Once I got comfy with 5NL, I started working on trying to steal pots and good bluffing situations. My blue line stayed about the same, but my redline almost caught up with it. Think about what that does for your winrate to go from a negative redline to one that is positive.

Plus, I think that aggression is necessary to survive at 10NL.

Anyone confirm?
I can confirm TNFT only supports NL at the moment.

Yeah I´ve beennoticing recently some spots where it is profitable to just take it down but got to work on it more and it comes with expirience i guess.
Hmm...my Af is around 4.5 I think...is that not agressive enough? Is it weird that it´s like 7 on the flop 3 on the turn and 2.5 on river?

I don't know if there's an optimal number for this. It's more about spotting the right situations and opponents and making use of bluff cards and trying to read opponents and find out whether you can put them off their hands.

If its been a few months FTP has COMPLETELY redone how the client handles graphics, and even if you have mods "off", just having the files around with the wrong names or something might be screwing with it.

If I were you I would start with a fresh install of FTP.

Then re-mod if that does fix the problem. (You'll need all new mods.)

Thanks Kurt ..

I managed to delete all my old layouts and made another and saved .

All seemed to work ok after that ... although this was at the second attempt because half way through the first Full Tilt decided to close all tables and shut down ..

Cant ever remember that happening before ..

Anyways .. after THAT session of poker .. i wish it had stayed down ..

You know the one where .. i hit top pair once which walked into a set .. all 4 flush draws missed and basically .. nothing went right at all .

Maybe i should try the limp / call approach because i swear those bu**ers hit far more flops that i do !

ok winge over .. tommorrow is another day.

For those who have interest, I don't reveal my sn because then it becomes "personal". I can divest myself that I know you if I am an unknown to you....so we play str8 up. But I tend to play VERY soft against the few who know me. I play recreationally and I REALLY don't want to stack friends. Not sure if it makes sense to anyone..... but it works for me.

I'm always curious as to who is a 2+2 in my games. I usually play the deep tables on 10NL which usually have regulars. Not a lot of real obvious fish with 45 VPIPs, but a lot of the weak TAGs. Furthermore, almost no one seems to have a profit if PTR is to be believed. One person once commented that among the three tables we were both on, I was the only one who has actually made money from poker. Not bragging here. I am one of the luckiest players ever, you'd know if you saw my EV graph. There was the one boaster on here who I have about 200 hands on including being stacked by me once. And one other guy who revealed himself to me in private, but I've only got 7 hands on him. Not sure who else plays the tens.

But it seems like there are a lot of guys who probably could have come from this forum. A lot of 18/13 type players.

What if my roommate is a MTT pro and can coach me? How wide / thin is the field? How much can win in these freerolls?

I haven't played one in like 10 months, but IIRC, like 20-30% don't even show up. Mincashing is almost automatic unless you get coolered.
10-28-2009 , 10:08 PM
Finally got to play with someone I knew was 2+2. Enjoy my $2.25 mr springsteen.

Generally if someone is playing a decent TAG game at 25 or 50 (although I'm usually looking for something slightly tighter and/or more aggressive than 18/13), I just assume they're 2+2. If I know they're 2+2 I usually make a note and give them a certain color. Then I 3-bet the hell out of them.

I keep my FTP name private, but I'm sure it's fairly obvious from my stats I'm 2+2. But I'd rather not confirm that to people.

do you remember what the min cashes in these are? i've been working on my SNG game recently and have been thinking about taking the freeroll instead of bonus medals
