How do you archive this? Bragging all the time with your red line graph

I'm shot taking at 600NL when I'm running good. Skillwise, I probably belong at 200NL or maaaaybe 400NL.

people in the SSNL are very serious about themselves.

I still think you have a long way to go until you are the most hated.

Got a week off work so I've been making the most of it and grinding during the day (roughly 11 am UK time) and the play is completely different from my regular time. I see so many crazy lines that I end up turning into a POW just to see what they have.

There is a reg on the SSNL FTP reg thread, that for some reason I called out. I don't think he is a donkey or anything, just sort of decent player with just a little more to his game than basic ABC..which isn't bad for beating NL100 you don't need to be dynamic.

Anyways he gets on King Spew who was trying to rile the troops about the SSer problem, all of a sudden his majesty starts lecturing how we should not suck and be like him and learn to beat SSer...well that is all good, but he limp folds a lot and pretty much folds to every 3bet, even in obvious resteal situations (so he either doesn't adjust his stealling range, or is too much of a nit), well this type of game is what the SSers love...I called him out on it, and he got all high and mighty reffering to how much he won this year playing poker. Good for him, he won some decent money at an okay WR, but don't think money makes you great. Honestly his career winnings don't cover my brokerage fees on a yearly basis.

Am i the only one who grew up with spoiled rich kids? That's what the SSNL forum reminsd me of, a bunch of douches who stumbled upon an easy way to make a bunch of money and act like 30k millionaires
10-28-2009 , 04:58 PM
I grew up on military bases, a bunch of over-adjusted kids stuck that were moved around every 2-3 years and everybody made what the Army gave them.
10-28-2009 , 04:58 PM
Hey now, there are some cool SS regs.

*looks around*

yeah there are few cool ones, and some great ones, but its literally like 10 good/okay guys, 5 guys that will help out and the rest our douche bags.

Back then i had steady work and didn´et have to worry so much about the monies so didnt really pay attention to the fact that i was actually loosing
Then I started college and left some change on FTP and realized that I cant do what I did b4 so i started to study alot on 2+2 and also put in way more volume then ever b4 and 2+2 has helped me to be a winning player at 5nl...ok i know thats not such a big deal but for me it is...feels like a turning point in my (not so serious yet) poker career..
Now I´m looking forwards to trying out nl10 in the near future...hope it will go well
Will try to give back some more to this forum as it has helped me so much so I´ll see what I can do
very nice poast but you def need to add something about how great you are... beating 10nl for godmode crushing ptbb/100... and oh yeah, how you're gonna soul read and stack all the regs here!!! LOL

welcome aboard!!!!

uNL4lyfe amirite?

SS forum is almost useless. I read it for the reg wars, Vini dropping by for one-liners, and the occasional knowledge i can glean from the geniuses who actually try to be constructive

I'd say most are dbags. There are probably 3 or 4 that I would consider good guys that frequent that thread. The rest are people that have huge egos and can't stop talking about themselves... or they are just regs that like to talk **** to anyone they don't know. (Although, the 3 or 4 I can name have egos, but I mean, kinda have to have a swagger about you, can't be a biatch. They don't show it much though.)

Not to mention, some of them are out of their minds. And I question what the hell they think sometimes.

...I mistype that, I spend that much in about a year between all of our accounts, which includes insane fees on our 401Ks..These two past years, I been on both sides of the market and the don't let you hold a triple leverage bank short for long...Bastards!

I am actually a value guy

I spotted a few good short plays through the years but I never did get into margin trading. I did toy with options for a little bit, but to borrow a poker term, I quickly learned my bankroll couldn't handle the variance.

Sometimes I miss having money. Trading was fun.
10-28-2009 , 05:20 PM
I think margin trading should only be done with money you can afford to lose (even though it will still feel like crap when it happens.)

First time I got into Margin trading was right Enron, we (my current boss, friend at the time) kept hearing standard practices on the audit and accounting then went out and shorted the hell out of Anderson's 5 biggest clients...that was NNNNNIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCEEEEEEE

Play money account Kurt?

Do any of the lobby views for FTP have a comprehensive filter system? I want to only be shown FR NL .25/.5 tables. Possibly with the option to add on ONLY DEEP tables

IIRC the standard lobby has an "advanced filter" button.
