Tables were nice this evening, ended about 4BI up in ~850 hands (and that's still 2BI below EV because in about the first 10 hands of my session I went allin pre with AA vs AKo and lost ofcourse since AKo made his flush, brag tho... I didn't tilt after that )

Roll is almost big enough to go to 50NL, just ~3BI@50NL/~5BI@25NL to go and then I meet my 30BI rule. And now, sleep! Take care...

Yes.. in retrospect.... I just think AK is too weak to put that many bb's in a pot u feel will be called by any 2... it's just not a big enough advantage.. I think I'd rather have TT.

I'm by no means an expert. I know it's a strong hand but it's not worth much at all without improvement against ATC.

you're opponent is shoving almost ATC, you're either a little worse than flipping or dominating him the vast majority of the time (the only time you're not is against AA/KK but there's only 12 ways he has this in the (literally) 1000+ hands he might be shoving assuming your read is correct). your play is a shove with a pump of the fist.

I would probably do it again in the same situation but I guess I left out the most important part. I wasn't properly rolled for 100 so I should have waited on a bigger advantage or never been there to start with. I had to drop down after the hand.

losing flips feels worse than it should for me

Is anyone here a reg as low as 10nl? I've been playing there for a few days now and discovered lots and lots of regs, but most are bad. A few are good, and I wondered if any come on here? 10nl regs, show yourselves!

Hi everyone, I'm a regular on the $25 NL tables on FT (princesssparkle). I used to play $50-$100, but since taking a break for more than a year, I am starting over at $25 NL and trying to change my game. In the past, I've always been ultra tight and played 12 tables robotically. Now, I'm trying to play "optimum poker" and focusing on 4 tables. I could use all the help I can get!

Hi,

I had you on a lot of my tables the last two weeks for so. I already thought that you are a 2+2er / reasonable player.

If you want to improve your game its a good idea to read the COTW and post Hand Histories.

And welcome at 2+2.

welcome! fwiw, the spread between your vp and pfr was fairly wide in my db 14/5, possibly raise more in position and 3b more (.09%)?

I just checked my DB on him and I noticed this spread between vp and pfr, too. Def a point where he should do something.

got my call to work... just as well, the tables aren't plahying well for me this afternoon anyway... El Nino, hope you ran well...

Yeah, one of my friends pointed the gap out to me... it's definitely a hole that I'm trying to fix. I'll start posting hands soon, but thanks for your suggestions!

I think I'm a reg now at 10NL. I had been struggling a while and moving down and back up a lot. I've retooled my game a lot and have been crushing 10NL since then. It's been nice. Those stox poker videos are incredible.

I'm playing under the same name as here. I dunno about you being overaggro, have your AF at 0.75 only 80 hands tho

I have you at 10/6 haha, and you only ever got to showdown twice while at the table with me (and both times you had a set :P). Also, it's only the last few days I've been more aggro. My NSD winnings was dropping as I was getting owned by the regs so I just started playing back...
