Hehe, for a while, my biggest win was when I sucked out on someone with pocket aces by spiking a set after the money went in.

ez.. get it in bad then see what you're up against... and if need be go to the following really, really fast, before the rest of the cards can come out:

i did crap my pants when i saw his pocket 9's! on the other hand i felt if he wants to call off almost 30% of his stack to hit his set, fine by me. the suckout doesn't even come close to offsetting the various beats i've taken last month either though lol! i'm good for the occasional 2 outer myself! i'd shove an overpair on this cat any day of the week and expect to be +EV.

Yeah, people take setmining to ridiculous heights. I've seen people call with like 20 or 30BBs only to fold to a c-bet.

One of the best ones was last month where someone put in a third of his stack with QTs. I had aces and so I figured I'd get the rest among three streets. All the money goes in on the river and I see that he flopped a flush.

But I've been having bad luck with pocket aces recently. My last two AIPF both lost to spiked sets. One was with Ks, so I can't fault the villain. The other one was vs 6s! Sets have been very kind to me, though. I've had three sets recently that were good to stack two opponents each. Now that's a good payoff.
