For you multi-tablers, remember they only double the point on the first to tables you open. So its probably best to open at least 2 stable tables first and then start tables, instead of having the points doubled on tables you're not actively collecting points on.

I noticed that you have to elect to sign up for the promotion, does that mean it will affect my rakeback?

Moved up to 25NL today, and was very happy to be +3BI for the session. Poker Gods, please don't smite me tomorrow

enjoy your welcome to 25NL "Run Well"... it's like the neighbor who brings over a cake to meet and welcome you into the new neighborhood, then later in the summer poisoning your dog...

I'm running bad. Maybe I should watch another video. Hmmmm. Nah, I'll probably grind my way back to even in 5 hours and miss class. Damn me to hell. Takin a break.

Hey guys,

Lately u can buy in into some tournamenst with FTP points. Does anyone know if they deduct it from ur rakeback? I know they do it when u buy items in the store, but do they do it also for tournaments buy ins? Tx a lot.

If one of your first two goes south and breaks, can you close your other tables and start over? I generally only 4-6 table so for me this is feasible but I realize some of you 12-24 table and obv wouldn't do this.

I don't think the extra points at 1 table are worth the EV of staying at a ****ty table. I don't know if I'm going to sign up for this promotion, it will largely depend on if it affects my rakeback. But even if I sign up, I'm going to ignore it and table select as usual.

Why don't you just sign up, take the extra points and table select as usual?

You still make more $$$ from this even if it does affect your RB.

You can close the broken table and the "new" 1 and 2 tables that get double points are the 2 and 3 tables from the start of your session.

Basically just saying not to sit at an empty table with the first or second ones you open up.

If you close one of the doubled tables, the next table opened gets doubled.

Make sense?

I am newer to cash games (been playing them for 3 months now with silver, silver and gold iron man over those 3 months so played a few hands but not a ton)

I am experimenting at the $25nl level with normal full ring games, DS full ring games and 6H games. So far what I have noticed is:

FR vs DS FR you don't have to deal with the short stacks as much in full ring which is why I started playing the DS tables.

I have only tried the 6H tables on and off for a week now. So far I can only play 4 of them at once where I could comfortably do the FR with 6 to 8 tables. The aggression level goes through the roof on these it seems. I find myself all-in probably 5 times as much in a 6H game than in my FR games. Not a bad thing, just obviously increases the variance, but it seems it would also increase the chance to make more $$ assuming you are a winning player.

For you long term cash players what have you learned over time?

Do you play FR or 6H and why?

I only play on FT which is why I wanted to post this in this thread to get the FT view on this. If it needs moved out of this thread that is fine.

Oh new FTP update!!!

Asks me to install flash (which I already have), click Install anyway. FTP DOESN'T LAG ANYMORE!!!

this is the Full Ring Forum so most players here play exclusively FR. A few will mix in some HU and 6-max but those each have their own forums here as well.

Yes they disabled the proxy settings to help cure the lag issues. Hopefully that will not have to many consequences or they can find a better fix soon.
