is it a well known secret, aka fact, that fulltilt is softer than stars?

I was playing 100NL on tilt today to make up some ftp points so i can just vacate my roll and points fully from there, (i has no rake back) and the games suddenly felt soooo much softer!

just random table selection?
08-16-2009 , 01:15 PM
Nah it pretty well known the FT is softer.
08-16-2009 , 01:18 PM
lets all crush the tables today. lets hope the fish are swimming around in schools.

My opinion, backed by my WR, is that Stars $100 is significantly softer than FT $100.

The difference is not quite enough for me to switch over to Stars and give up rakeback, but it is pretty noticeable.

Is anybody else here who can not import his hands into HEM after FTP last update? The table manager identify the tables but my hands are not longer tracked....

I downloaded the last HEM update (1.09 beta 24) but it still not works....

Another question: I just cleared my "biggest bonus ever" right now but the amount is not credited to my account balance yet. I thought it is a insta bonus? Or is there som timeframe until FTP credited the bonus?

Thanks a lot!!

it must be a f joke... running 33/28 after 35hands and i get called or 3bet when holding QK and insta fold around me with KK...

hahaha

skills? table image? the big part of the players pool just play videopoker... they play what they see on the screen...

but i'm learning... i insta folded QKs to a 3 bet from a 11/6... 2% 3betPF

sorry mate i call only with aces... let's all play videopoker
08-16-2009 , 02:52 PM
shhh... kk again...
08-16-2009 , 02:56 PM
played very bad..

get called by a 9/7 on 10k hands... CC 1%

and guess what his river bet is 12%

how dumb am I?

this decisively ends my life on FTP. I am a platinum star on stars so i get some rb and i hope to be supernova soon.

cya all!

Very interesting to hear. Will you make the switch next year and go for Supernova since it is a little better then FTP RB? I imagine you put in plenty enough volume to make it to supernova at $100.

Also, have you put in enough volume at both sites at the 50nl level to make an assumption on which you think is softer. Seems fairly close to me but it would be a decent amount of play to get the equivalent of 27% RB on PS.

anyone playing ftops main event?

I'm still convinced PandasWatchPorn is a 2p2er, please out yourself, kthx.

i've never seen so many short stackers at 25nl before. literally all of the tables except the deep tables had about 6 short stacks.
08-16-2009 , 07:47 PM
^ yeah man there are sooooo many shortstackers

i'm on the worst downswing right now but i don't even feel it anymore. i ship stacks all day v. two outers and i don't even give a **** lollllll

almost feels good in a sick way, sorry backers, but you guys are rich in slansky bucks >.<

Yea they got the best of me on my first sess today. Lost just about 2 bi's without playing a pot over 50bb. Seems like there dying down a bit right now though. Going to get some dinner into me and get back at it/

I dunno what my plans are. Next year I expect to be living in Vegas and playing mostly live and filling in my work week with some online play. Come this time next year, I hope to be teaching school. Either playing live or being back in the workforce would drive down my online volume, which sort of automatically makes FTP the better choice. So that is what I will probably do. However, I also hope to be playing $200 next year, and (going back a year or so) I had heard that $200 on Stars was way softer than FT. So I really have no idea wtf I will be doing next year, lol.

I have something close to 0 $50 hands on Stars, so I have no opinion on which is tougher. It's hard to imagine $50 on Stars being harder then $50 on FTP, and then things changing at $100, but I guess it is possible.

Wow didnt realize you were planning a move and possible career change. Exciting upcoming year for you. Good luck in the ventures.

Definatly see how with less volume FTP might be a better choice for you at $100nl. Guess it depends on how much volume you can actually get in, but given the unsure status of your online volume I imagine FTP would be better option since it is automatic money not just speculative money and money banking on you getting a certain amount of volume in.

At $200 you might be able to make it with minimal volume. Guess again it would come down to the numbers.

Good luck in the upcoming ventures. What are you planning on teaching?
