I dont think he is just flatting OOP with KK's here. Its more likely he is flatting this with JJ's or QQ's. He might do this with 10's or 99's as well but out of the hands he is doing this with you are ahead of QQ's and slightly ahead of 10's. If you think he will do this with KK's then you might be slightly ahead of his range but you are more the likely either a very slight favorite to huge dog. You can make an arguement for already being commited but you will usually be crushed here.

not the best hour of the day to do so, gl though

meh hu variance is lol
played solely 50nl hu yesterday to take a break from FR
was up 12 buy ins at one point...
then tilt/coolers etc standard hu stuff so finished day only up 4
06-21-2009 , 12:18 PM
That was a frustrating session. I ground out 2 buy ins 3 times, lol. The fish were spiking two outers like they were on sale or something.

JLBorloo and I were starting tables at the same time, so I wound up with tables that were me, JLBorloo and either JoopJan or Enty.

It was like that scene from rounders where all the rounders from NYC were down in Atlantic City.

haha i was playing with borloo for a bit and thought it was a good idea to join his tables to keep 3 betting him, pretty funny that you were there as well tho. Hadn't been at 50nl in a while now but my idea that 50nl is soft got reinforced, even tho the tables were fulled with regs.

good job lads.

Saturday night at 1:30 AM isn't good? I played a little before that, and a little after the post...

How is a weekend supposed to be bad...? =X
06-21-2009 , 03:11 PM
I think 1.30am is not that "casual friendly".
I don't know since I live in europe but i'd say somewhere between your 6pm and your noon is probably the best.
06-21-2009 , 03:48 PM
I don't think so, I think they best time to play is prob 8pm-2am eastern
06-21-2009 , 09:35 PM
Is AKspartn on FT AKspartan from here, or is it a crazy coincedence?
06-21-2009 , 10:12 PM
This is AK... what's up?

@ anyone who has a clue about SNGs:

Full Tilt Poker $2 + $0.25 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t200/t400 Blinds - 4 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BTN: t4055 M = 6.76
SB: t285 M = 0.47
BB: t5910 M = 9.85
Hero (CO): t3250 M = 5.42

Pre Flop: (t600) Hero is CO with Q A

weird spot because it's on the bubble and SB has 85 chips left after posting, others cover me, still a shove?

Snap shove. The goal of SNG's isnt to survive it is to thrive and this is a perfect spot to take out a shortstack while also picking up some dead money. The btn and bb will have to wake up with very strong hands to call your shove. Also you are short compared to blinds so you need chips soon since you will be blinded next. Unless the bb or btn have shown to be major spew boxes, which they may have shown you this at the $2 level, then shove this all day long.

That, and they really don't want to cripple themselves before they are in the money. :P

Had a ChicagoJoey weekend and lost 16BIs. I think I will need to step down to 50 or 100 for a while. Any fish swimming in these waters?

Before you ask, it was a TON of flips against 65/35 droolers that seemed to hit. Had 6 in a row last night at one time where we got it all in before the turn and I was ahead 5 times. And the sixth you ask. I wasn't ahead....I was HUGELY ahead. All in the space of about ten minutes.
06-22-2009 , 10:56 AM
yo KS, yeah the 50 is really awesome these days, plenty of fishes and regs are quite bad, it is gonna be a walk in a park there for you.
Don't know about the 100 but when I check the tables they usually look ok.
GL on rebuilding

Poker is so funny.
One day you are ahead, the other day you give head
06-22-2009 , 11:38 AM
plenty of fish, but they are really good at sucking out.
