He's pretty passive. He likes to call w/ all his big pairs.

Hi guys, I decided to play full tilt only now (for teh RB). I 16table 50NL during happy hours a lot. Please be nice to me.

ho my ho my epic session at NL25 tonight, from -74 to + 67. It is 6 am here but tables are SO profitable at those hours compared to euro afternoon / early evening.
good luck at you whom are still on the tables

/off to bed

Sounds like one should go up at 5 AM and play a couple of hours before going to work
05-26-2009 , 10:06 AM
Does FTP is slow sometimes for you? Or it is something wrong with my computer/internet connection. The problem is that if I bet sometimes it goes like 1-2 seconds before the bet actually appears on a table and something like 1-3 players instant act afterwards. I usually play 3-4 tables with HUD.
It is strange because I was playing on Pokerstars before and it never was like that.

Yeah since I am a student and now in vacation I can go to bed late, but since it is really unhealthy I am now thinking about waking up at 5 instead and then I can have a nice breakfeast, go to the swimming pool/work out...
Are you in Europe too ?

Go up at 4.30, fire up the comp, make a nice breakfast and play for like 2 hours. Go work out, maybe play some more. Go play a round of golf. Come home eat dinner and play a few more hours euro evening time.

Sound good?

Yeah, FTP has always had some lag issues. It's a ton better than it used to be though. Happens much less frequently and is much less severe. People used to time out all the time becuase of it a few years ago.

So I finally opened up a FT account.
Deposited $600.
Played 600 hands BR is now $900 - no wonder you have kept this site secret.

One question my HUD is displaying over the wrong names - any suggestions.

Names in the wrong places? Something with preferred seat maybe? If really completely wrong names, hmmm... no clue.

And $300 in 600 hands, hehe. Pretty sweet. If 50NL, that means 100BB/100. Sustainable of course...
05-26-2009 , 10:47 AM
it prolly has to do with preferred seat.

Holy crap coach me man!

Was that 50NL or 25NL?

...and I hope you signed up for rakeback?
05-26-2009 , 11:09 AM
yeah I did sign up for rakeback.
where is preferred seating?

make that up $460 lol. 4 tabling of course
05-26-2009 , 12:05 PM
You have to select "seat 5" as your favourite seat in HEM (HUD options > seating preferences). I dont know how it goes in PT.
Otherwise yesterday I was playing my normal games at NL25, when I saw Brice Buffer seating at a 4/9 NL50 table, so I just jumped in, not to play with a unknown pro I don't care about, but because I thought a lot of fishes would come in. Nonetheless after the donks stacked off to regs (not me), the table went pretty nitty in spite of the 32 players wait list, so I just gave up my seat (not without saying "LOL NIT" to Brice)

If you want to sit at the bottom center you have to select Auto Center under Options.

50! Crap, you need to move up. I don't like playing with competent people. Luckily there are lots of tables

That is the main reason I have been playing deep tables. It just seems that every regular table I have looked at has 3+ 20BB shortstackers that totally )$*# the game. I don't mind mixing it up with a few shortstackers here and there but right now I'm trying to learn actual postflop poker and they aren't good for that.

The only problem I have is that when I'm up on a table then it does switch to a deepstack game and set over set @ 150+ BB hurts like hell. That beings said I can't bring myself to rathole just yet.

It is a good question whether the average level of play is better on deepstack tables though.... can anybody else chime in?
The reasons you described for playing the deep tables pretty much hit the nail on the head. I do think you see better players on the deep tables, but the regs are pretty easy to spot based on stats and play.

I also buy in 100bbs. After doubling up I definitely keep an eye on the full stacks at the table.

Hey gordonk I knew your name was recalling me something at the tables, we have been playing quite a lot together these last days !

FT is NOT juicy, FT is so fixed, i bet they have an algorithm to give the winning players more bad beats and the fish more suck outs. Its just a slight adjustment to keep the fun for the fish otherwise they would loose their money to fast.

I am so sick of getting sucked out 1 time per hour it kills my winning ratio.

i just sat down 8 tabling and in the first 30 minutes one 3 outer and one 2 outer for 2 full buyins... this happens so often that i get sick... thinking of moving to another site, but stras is rigged too....
