If you call the turn I don't see how you can fold the river.

i never understood the logic behind these kinds of statements..

in HU cash vids i always hear the person go:

"ok, i think it's profitable to call here but if he fires again i'm folding" and things of this nature.

am i misinterpreting your statement? or am i misinterpreting what's going on in the minds of the vidmakers?

What range is he defending preflop? Would he bluff something like Qxss on the river here? Are your bet sizes on flop + turn consistent with something better than K7?

The river card changes nothing so if you were ahead on the turn you are still ahead. So basically you should decide on the turn whether you want to call, not call the turn and then decide on the river. At least that's what I think.

Of course there are spots where you would call one street to see if he follows through on the next but I don't think this is one of those spots.

The flop call is somewhat suspicious. Why not check the turn ? There isn't a ton of draws exept the hearts and you have showdown value but don't want to get all in with such a mediocre hand. I would have checked the turn and call the river (sometimes catch a flush draw's bluff) or bet if checked and get value from a lower pair.

his range for check/raising and betting the river aren't the same so you cant they if you call turn you have to call the river!
