History, 4th time villain had 3bet me IP. First time I had played back at him.

I'm just curious, is that an obvious tilt bluff attempt by me. I know its an awful hand on my part but can someone explain to me so I can put it to bed.
I have a feeling what happened but still a bit hazey.

I dont think i'd ever do this without AA KK or QQ. I know if I was in Villians shoes, i'm not feeling good about 99 in that spot.

Honestly, if it's a good spot to steal it means that the BTN isn't playing back at me enough for me to care about just auto-mucking A7o. If BTN were playing back at you enough that you felt the need to 4bet-bluff with A7o, it was probably a bad spot to steal.

Is this a bad, should I wait for a better time to make this play or avoid it all together?

*shrug* Given his vpip and the fact that his 3bet sample isn't big enough to rely on, if the BB/SB were nits I would steal and just fold all my bluffs. His stats are enough that I would start to feel better about widening my value 4bet/call range to TT+/AK and probably just not worry about balancing it with any bluffs just yet.

Ok thanks.

Not sure I feel totally comfortable dealing with these villains. Especially OOP, is there any shame in just leaving the table?
