I think it's pretty standard to check/call flop here 99% of the times as you are OOP and reevaluate on the turn bet.

As played the only combos you beat are small pairs,weak Aces (Ax) and lose from AA,AK,AQ,two pair, sets and KJ combos. The button lead out on the river tends to show strength after you lead both flop and turn.

The only way I would personally call is if this is a really weak player (you have notes) or very high VPIP player (35+) but most of the time I would find a fold and not get committed to top pair mid kicker.

Flop can go either way but are supposed to bet small in theory with the nut advantage nearly always, this is a two street kind of hand to get value from, it works quite well betting twice and re-evaluating the river, as played you turned hand into a bluff catcher in the turn, think about what type of player you are against and if they can turn 10j/qk/qj into a bluff and call down but it seems unlikely since they have some showdown value
