I'm really torn about this hand so looking for feedback.

On the one hand, I think he is literally only repping KT and Th8h with this line. I think being 250bb deep, he has to go for a cr with a set on the flop knowing that i'm not raising his donk with almost any hand this deep. My hand has to look like exactly what it is, a one pair hand expecting to always be good getting to the river this way.

On the other hand, the line is so absurd, and looks so bluffy that I don't expect him to think I am ever folding top pair. Donk, donk, cr is just a line that I so rarely see that I was not even considering what to do to a raise when I made my river bet.. which is rare for me.

I've been active but mostly in isolating the fish at the table. Unfortunately I don't have any major reads on villain, his stats are pretty standard tag stats and I've never seen him get out of line. Villain is FocusANDwin.

What is his donk %? He could still easily have sets and such here because some people just always lead them deep. I dunno if I bet river, but if I do I prob call the raise. Yeah, I don't bet river w/out more info on his donking

without good reads on his donking range, and without some strange expectation that he c/c river with ThXh (i don't think good players would?) i see no reason to bet the river

This might be right but it could be because you are inducing more so than anything else rather then being called by worse (Kj maybe????). tbh check back is probably right against an unknown but as usuall i probably dont do it in real time

We are not getting value from very many worse hands if you bet river. If you bet river it has to be because you are trying to induce some bluffraise. If you don´t know what to do when he raises you obviously didn´t bet river to get bluffed so therefore you should check the river.

I like raise flop/bet turn/check River or call flop/raise turn/ check River much more. Cause that's the way you get money from draws/TP hands on earlier streets. Not much what you beat calls your river bet (KJ,?).

how many times is villain bet bet ch.c with a hand with these stacks? with that being said, i think a river is a check back

check back the river this is a pretty thin valuebet and i think to see his cards has more value over all

i fold to a c/r here i think you get owned by a set here often
