Flop: ($0.80) A, 5, 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks

Turn: ($0.80) 10 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, Button calls $0.60

River: ($2) J (2 players)
Hero bets $1.70, Button raises to $10.60, Hero calls $8.64 (All-In)

Total pot: $22.68 | Rake: $1.51

Thought this was an interesting hand. Flop check I'm going for c/r, board is pretty nice. River is obviously not a bluff, could be done with A7, AT or AJ, doubt it's AK. Other than that I don't beat much, except maybe weird two pair hands... I really feel bad folding sets though.

why did you want to c/r flop?

I have a set, the board is good for cbetting so I expect one. If he has AT+ he probably calls a c/r, and then the pot is bigger than if I had lead and he called. If he has air he folds to a lead and a c/r, but a c/r wins me a bigger pot anyway. I'm not scared of many turn cards. Is c/r bad here?

Also I meant NL10 rush not NL25, sorry...

If you had bet the flop, this hand would have been much more easier to play.

Is it standard for you to lead all your sets into the PFR?
Of course it would have been easier, but ppl cbet alot normally, especially ace high boards, so c/r looks fine to me.

You're absolutely right, but there's definitely room for variation. A checkraise screams set here, especially in Rush, and you're trying to get paid off by weak aces.

I like leading for around 2/3 the pot: he might elect to bluff with an underpair (which would have instamucked vs. a checkraise); he calls with most aces, setting up three solid streets of betting; and he often raises AQ+.
