Villian was about 19/10/oo over 30 hands, and seemed rather weak/tight. However, he seemed capable of recognizing dry boards and c/r'ing to fold out weaker opponents at the table.

Given I have bottom pair with a backdoor flush draw and an A kicker, what do I do vs. his c/r? If I call, how do I proceed on the turn?

IMO - I wouldn't be trying moves at 25nl. The chances he is bluffing is low at 25nl. A pair of 2 is not worth it.

Say you rr him to $13-16 on the flop, and he shoves, what then? a lot to risk to try to a steal. Steal when you have a real draw not a back draw with the lowest pair possible.

I would fold and pressure him again from the BTN, there are better spots for what you are doing, IMO.

Also, what makes you think, he thinks you are a weak player? How does he see you?

Don't think it's terrible to peel one in this spot.. Against a lot of villains this almost min-raise is a cheap way of trying to take down the pot, and ur in position and can use that to ur advantage. Fold to a reasonable bet unimproved on the turn

I would call here if you think he's capable of bluffing like this. Many cards help your hand, but it also forces his bluff to become much more expensive...almost triple of what it would be originally, which significantly reduces how profitable it is for him to bluff you in the long run.

Check behind this flop. If it hit you you don't have a hand that can stand much heat, and you're up against a tricky player. As played, call, reevaluate on turn.

i think bottom pair is kinda weak to check back. i usually rather semi bluff with it. just fold now though imo. you're gonna get yourself in a mess. you have like 30 hands on the guy and he's not exactly trying real hard if he's looking for a fold.
